Good morning Bee Arty fans...

Today I want to show you a card that I have used many stamps from 5 different Bee Arty Stamp Sets!

For this card I wanted to add a bit more detail to the flower set from Floral Delights 1.
So firstly I stamps a background stamp from Textiles Stamp Set. At this stage I really didnt have a clear idea on how many flowers I wanted so just stamped a few extra.

Next I stamped the 3 different sizes of flowers from Floral Delights 1

At this stage I could have coloured them in with Bee Arty Colour Artists Inks, but decided to fussy cut first and put them to the side - confession time... I still had no idea in mind on what I was doing!

This next stage is when an idea started to form. 

Firstly I selected two Artist Ink colours - Lime and Spice. splattered them both on a card and added some water at top to make it run down and around the edges.

Next I selected 3 stamps for the boarders from Confidential Stamp set and stamped these with Archival Ink

I just had to add the Bee stamp from Make Me Happy Stamp set. 

Then mounted card face on black cardstock to make it "pop"

I then coloured the flowers in the same colours as the background using the Artist Inks and watercolour pen

Finally before placing all together I felt like something was missing - there was too much space on the background for me, so I added the wire stamp from Life Is Tough Stamp Set

I also stamped another bee - fussy cut, coloured in copics then stuck down on top of stamped image. I

Finally happy and all glued down I mounted onto a white card.

I added some stickles to wings of bee and white pen to highlight flowers.

This was a real mix and match card using all those different stamp sets, if it works why not? Your only limited by your own imagination

Hello all!

I have a quick project for you here today.

Here's a little preview..😉 

I started out with a couple of my favourite Colour Artist Inks  - Spice and Cranberry. I thinned them down a lot as I wanted a watercolour look.

I combined them to get the colour I wanted, then smooshed them on to my cardstock.

The next step was to mix a little Colour Artist Ink in Mermaid in with some moulding paste and apply it through a stencil.

Before it dried I dropped a little Bling Colour Embossing Powder on to the paste, then heated it to activate it at the same time as drying the paste.

After that I used some papers from my stash to put the whole page together...

See? Told you it was a quick one today! 

Sometimes we need to just not overthink things...

ACCEPT IMPERFECTION by Suzy Loudon

With Halloween nearly upon us I felt inspired to create something spooky. So here goes.

To begin with I tore up some print paper then using a clear gesso sealed the whole page.

Using the Imprinted A4 Stencil I spread Heavy White Gesso around the page.

I sprayed my page with water before dropping Spice & Cider Artist Inks. Tilting my page around I dried it with a heat gun, moving the ink around.

I did the same thing with Soot Artist Ink. As the water was sprayed it did slightly re-activate what was dried changing it all over again.

I watered down some Heavy Black Gesso & splattered it around before painting around the edges.

Using the Black Gesso I then painted some metal charms. I later rubbed some coloured rub on them to highlight.

Using Road Base Colour Spray I coloured some muslin & dried off gently with my heat gun.

Using Steel Embossing Powder I embossed some chipboard.

Then embossed my other chipboard with Dusty Charcoal Embossing Paper.

Using my Shimmer Pen I went over my black web die cuts.

Then it was time to put it all together & I'm done.

Hi team!

I have a new page for you again today with the Inspired collection watercolours and Colour Artist Inks.

I started off with  a Paige Evans cut file in a starburst pattern that I wanted to hand stitch. I used the Inspired collection watercolours to do a wash of Sunshine over the sunbeams, then Mustard, Carrot and a touch of Scarlet on the sun itself. I also used Ultramarine on the bottom third of the page.

I decided it wasn't quite strong enough, so I highlighted the same areas with Citrus, Spice and Sunburnt Colour Artist Inks, plus Calypso on the sea.

I had a second cut file that I wanted to back, so I offset it, and then went back to my watercolours 😁

While everything was drying I stitched the background...time to add the photo and embellies and done!

I'm so happy with this one - I hope you like it too 💖

Happy Fri-yay again folks!

I've gone grungy this week, using the Graffiti Grunge collection.

I started with the Choose paper, and gave it a light coat of clear gesso, so that I could go to town with Colour Artist Inks using the packaging technique, a bit of brushing and lots of splattering. My first colour was Barley, and then Spice to deepen it.

When that was dry, I stamped randomly with one of the coordinating stamps from the same collection. 

Next I stencilled some Colour Paste in Just Blue, and Dusty Charcoal. 

When I was choosing layers for my photo cluster I decided to grunge some ripped corrugated card even further with Black Heavy Gesso. 

Time to add the cluster, and some fussy cutting  - that's it!

Hope you love it as much as I do - it's a definite sea change from my usual!

Hello everyone - a very quick page to show you today 😄😀

I started off with my favourite Colour Artist Inks in Citrus, Spice, Oasis and Mermaid.

Using watercolour paper and a soft flat brush I randomly spread colour here and there on my page. Of course I had to splatter a bit too 😄

The face outline is lightly drawn in with a black aquarelle pencil, then blended out with a brush. (I love how the splatters look like freckles!)

It still looked like it needed a little more definition, so I loaded up my liner brush with Soot, and loosely went over the design here and there.

I decided that was enough this time, and left it there - sometimes it's hard to know when to stop!
