Stretch your supplies I Mobile Case I Sunila Mahajan

Hello Bee Arty lovelies, Sunila here and I'm back with inspiration for you'll.

Today I decided to create a custom mobile case using my Bee Arty Supplies. With this I want to show you how these supplies aren't limited to paper crafting and can be used to decorate objects we use in our everyday life.

Here's a look at the case:

To create this I'm using a clear mobile case. I've tinted it on the inside with Artist Ink first. I then use coloured collage pieces and apply mod podge to hold them down in place. Since I wanted the quote to be visible, I've first glued that inside and then added colour and other layers. I seal it all with a larger piece of plain white paper, so the pieces not tear when I use the case on my mobile.

Here's a look at it from different angles:

2023 ATC Coins I Mixed Media I Sunila Mahajan

 Hello Bee Arty Lovelies,

Wishing you all a fantastic 2023! Sunila here and I'm back with a mixed media pictorial for you all!

Today I'm creating mixed media style ATC coins that I can share with my friends at the start of this year.

Here's a look at them:

Let's dive into the process:

1. I started out by cutting three circles measuring 2.5" on white mixed media paper. I coloured these with Slipper Artist Ink.

2. I added colour paste through a stencil for contrast and texture.

3. I stamped a background stamp with black ink for more texture.

4. I stamped and heat embossed elements for layers. I then fussy cut these.

5. I tested a few artist inks, and then die cut 2023 for the layering.

6. I added some die cut and fussy cut words to complete these. I mounted them on black card stock with a scallop border.

Here's a closer look at them:

Create to Inspire, an Art Journal Page by Sunila Mahajan

 Hello Bee Arty Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! I'm back on the blog today with my favourite, mixed media art journal page. I truly enjoy the freedom it gives me to create and in turn inspire you all. It also always gives me an opportunity to be inspired myself.

On that note, here's a look at the page.

Rich, luscious colours, textures and elements! I love how vibrant this turned out! I played with the Artist Inks for the background.

I've added texture paste with a stencil and then some black stamping to create depth and textures.

I've cut my focal Paintbrushes several times and glued them together to create that depth making them look 3 dimensional. I've added sisal underneath them, giving it texture and contrast from the background.

I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the butterflies to add them on to my page. I completed it with splatter and sequins.

Such a fun vibrant page to create! I called this instant happiness!

Sweet Life Card by Sunila

 Hello lovelies,

Sunila here, and I'm back with a fun project for you all!

Today I'm creating a birthday card using inks, mica powders and some stamps! This is a fun technique to use on layouts or journal pages as well!

I began by swatching inks and mica powders mixed with water. I simply dipped my brush in the colour and created a brush stroke swatch. I then cut around them to get these organic colourful pieces.

I stamped a few cupcakes, adhered them on my colourful swatches and splattered colours and added sequins. This is made for a fun vibrant card!

Supplies used:

Colour Blast Mica Powders

Colour Blast Shimmer Dust Powders

Colour Blast Artist Dye Ink

Funtime Stamp

Have a lovely week ahead!

Hugs,

Sunila

Happy Days, Mixed Media Journal page by Sunila

 Hello lovelies,

Sunila here and today I've sharing a mixed media journal page with you all. As you all know, I  art journaling. It  gives me the freedom to play with different products, to experiment a technique, or to try out a new idea, in the space of a page. I enjoy revisiting my pages and flipping through my journals. It helps me understand my growth and progress as well.

Here's a look at the page:

This page is a simple play with the mica powders for my colour. I've used die cut elements with a photo to create the focal. The background has textures created with a stencil and texture paste, as well as simple background stamping.

Smile by Charmane Koch

 Happy Friday Everyone!

Today is a quick share from me, as it's getting to silly season - ALREADY! I have so many things happening kid wise it is NOT FUNNY!

Anyway, I have only had a chance to play with the Chit Chat Collection based on and inspired by Karyn Schultz's awesome Facebook Live the other week - FIND IT HERE ON THE BEE ARTY HIVE!!

I used all of the different tips, tricks and techniques that Karyn shows us on her Live.  Including stencilling with Bee Arty Artist Inks, stamping on tissue paper

This is what the background looked like just with the stencilling... I also used bubble wrap to add extra interest. I just LOVE the stencilling technique! How fabulous does it look?

I also loved the tip of doing a few batches of the Chit Chat Dies using Black & White Cardstock and also Kraft. I decided to go with a mix of Black & White Chit Chat Dies.

And as you can see I have used my Inking & stamping technique again on the DIY Hearts.

I also coloured some muslin with the leftover Ink that I had and add it to my page too.

This is my version of Karyn's Live and I really love how it turned out!

I just LOVE the Chit Chat Stencils, Metal Dies & Stamps - these will be used many many times!

Anyway, I hope you will go and give Karyn's Techniques a go & I hope that I've inspired you even more to give it a try! So much FUN!

Thanks for stopping by & hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Take Care & STAY SAFE!

Season of Gratitude- Mixed Media cards by Aditi Mahajan

 Hello everyone,

Hope you'll are having a great week so far! I'm back with some mixed media inspiration for you all.

Today I'm creating a set of mini cards with the theme of fall and thanksgiving in mind. Different parts of the world celebrate it at different times, but the weather here really urges me to play with this theme.

Here's a look at the cards

I have a process video for you'll for these cards. Hop on over to the Bee Arty Hive on Facebook to view it and create along.

I've used mica powders as watercolours and artist ink to smoosh colours on my base. I've used some background stamps, and texture paste with stencils. I've finished them with a few die cuts, thread and sentiment.

Magic Journal Page

 Hello everyone,

Today I'm sharing a quick journal page with you'll. I love art journaling, especially when I don't have time to create. I find that a journal page can be created without any fuss and with minimal elements. This is also my favourite art activity when I'm travelling. I can create with minimal supplies on the go.

Here's a look at the page

For this page, I'm using my mini art journal which comes with with textured paper. This is best when I'm playing with water based mediums.

To begin with I splatted Sunshine Mica Powder and misted it with water. On my wet page, I dropped Cider Artist's ink and let the two magically blend. When my page was still went I sprinkled Candy Shimmer dust and slightly misted it with water. I did not use any heat tool, but left my page to naturally dry and that gave me the beautiful blend, shimmer and texture.

Next, I used the party lights stencil with black ink to add my next element. I also lightly stamped a few circles and stars few copper ink.

I finally added a few feathers cut out for the "Fearless, Brave and Free"  collection. I used foam tape to create dimension. From the same collection I also chose a phrase and adhered that. That gave my page meaning.
