Saltwater Cards by Charmane Koch

 Hey Everyone!

I'm back again - with MORE cards! This time I'm focussing just on the Saltwater Collection Papers - Plus a few other Dies, Stamps & Stencils...

Love this Collection...

These cards would be perfect Birthday Cards for the beach lovers of your life <3

From the Saltwater Collection I've used the Waves Die, the fish from Aquatic Life Stamp Set & the School of Fish Stencil

I used quite a few of the cutouts, using a bit of foam tape to give the card dimension...

For the background School of Fish - I used Snow White Colour paste on all the cards... love the shimmery effect...

You will also see I've used the Moon Rock Metal Die by cutting using Vellum - perfect for Bubble/coral looking background I think...

I also used the Stalks Die for this background, using Kraft Cardstock...

loving how the Waves Die turned out on this card too, cut from one of the Saltwater Papers...

I also stamped the Happy Birthday to you from the All Occasions Stamps set

As you can see I've also used the School of Fish stencil over the top of the DIY Heart,

Pop on over to the Bee Arty Hive to see a video I have made putting these Cards together! So much fun! Hopefully I've inspired you to get out the Saltwater Collection - OR experiment with the techniques I have used for a layout?

Happy Creating!

Birthday Cards pt2 - With Karyn Schultz!

 Hi Bee Arty Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have 6 birthday cards to share with you made using the new Wild At Heart Collection available from Bee Arty.

I cut 6 pieces of 9cmx13.2cm 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. Then I stamped around/on the edge of each using the Wild Leopard stamp set and the 1928 Fragment and Text stamp set and Black Archival ink. These form the mats on the cards.

I wanted to add colour to the stamped backgrounds so I mixed a Velvet Colour Shimmer Dust with Mocha Colour Spray to give a dusty pink shade to match the Wild at Heart papers. The pic below shows on the RHS Velvet only and LHS Velvet+Mocha.

I added a colour wash (using a wide paintbrush and plenty of water) of Velvet+Mocha to 3 of the stamped backgrounds (in different intensities) and Mocha to the other 3.

I made 6 card bases measuring a finished size of 14.5cmx10.5cm using 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. I added a colour wash of Velvet+Mocha to the front of 3 of the cards (in different intensities) and Mocha to 3 of them.

Then I used the Lost Symbol A6 stencil and some of the colour wash applied with a sponge on the card fronts (just around the edges).

Below you can see the stamped card on the left and the stenciled card front on the right for each of the 3 Velvet+Mocha cards, for a lighter colour I added more water to the wash.

Below you can see the stamped cards and the stenciled card fronts for the 3 Mocha cards.

I matted the stamped card onto the stenciled card front, then added a card cut from the Expedition Paper. I also added fussy cuts from the Roar Paper, as well as flowers from my stash. I stamped "Happy birthday" from the Embrace Change Collection onto White Cardstock and added to the card.

Wild At Heart has soft tropical vibes with versatile elements, and is designed by the talented Karen Yates. You will love this collection - the stamps, stencils and dies are not to be missed! You can subscribe to the kit here. Kits come with a paper pack, stencils, metal dies, stamp sets, embellishments and full colour kit instructions.

Thanks so much for stopping by

Cardmaking Craziness with Charmane!

Hey Bee Arty Creatives! How is everyone?

This month is "Birthday Month" for me & for something different I decided to challenge myself to create a card a day using bits and pieces from my stash! And of course I have accumulated quite a Bee Arty stash so I've been having lots of fun creating lots of different cards!

So here are just a few...

The Botanicals Collection is PERFECT for making Cards as well... the papers are so so pretty...

This is the first one I started with - how gorgeous are the colours...

My most used Metal Die atm is the Stalks Metal Die - if you don't have it, you NEED it NOW! It's just perfect to add to backgrounds - layouts or cards - it's so beautiful!

I decided to have a play with stamped "Untamed" onto  tissue paper and gel medium it onto the DIY Heart. I have then coloured it with the Pink Ice Shimmer Dust...

I have plans to use more of the stamped tissue paper....

I also coloured the Happy Birthday chipboard - painting it directly onto it... I love the effect - so shimmery!

Next I went with the gorgeous Green in the Botanicals to create my card...

I used the Best Wishes from the "Wishes Metal Die" to create my sentiment...

I love how this card has turned out using the older but still stunning Grateful Heart Collection - I have ordered more than one pack of this collection as I just LOVE it so much!

It's such a pretty collection...

I stamped "Have a Wonderful Day" onto some Vellum to create my sentiment - It comes from the MUST HAVE "All Occasions" stamp!

To brighten it up a bit I thought it'd be fun to use the "Fun in the Sun" range to correct some tropical themed cards... I definitely will be making more!

I just love the Cut Outs from this Collection & they are so easy to add to a card....

and to layer them up with a bit of Mounting Foam to add dimension too :)

The cool thing is that the Collections can be mixed and match - I have used the NEW Wild at Heart "Wild Leopard" Stamp here - as it matches perfectly with the Fun in the Sun theme too... along with the Find Paradise Flowers of Paradise Metal Die!

Because I loved how my first card turned out, I made another one!

I did the stamping again on the DIY tab, then coloured it with the Emerald Mica Powder... I also used the Happy Birthday stamp...

Next we have a couple of cards using the absolutely gorgeous Bee The Sunshine Collection...

at this stage of card creating I had the idea of cutting some dies using Vellum... oh my goodness... now I am OBSESSED! You can get the Vellum here - I'm definitely ordering MORE!

I've cut out Sentiments and the gorgeous Stalks Die again!

Ok - had enough yet? I still have so much more to share & SO many MORE ideas to get out!! Pop on over to the Bee Arty Hive for more Card Making shares later in the month!

Thanks for popping by & I hope I've inspired you to maybe do some Card Making too?
