With Love - Daisy Daze

 

Hiya Arty friends! I'm back with a sweet card using the black and white cut apart sheet that's on the inside cover of the Daisy Daze Collection pack that I've coloured with my alcohol ink markers so let's get into it!

I picked out the images I wanted from the cover sheet, coloured them in and then fussy cut them out and set aside to dry completely. 

Meanwhile, I took the largest Hex Stack die and cut it out of a 10.5cm x 14.8cm panel of the Daisy Frame patterned paper (reverse side), and then used the next wonky hex die down in size to cut my centrepiece of the patterned paper. I cut a piece of coordinating yellow cardstock that matched my marker colour and place it under the patterned paper panel, then foam mounted the centre piece. I then glued and foam mounted each of the flowers and leaves. Lastly, I tucked in and glued down my sentiment from the A5 Word Cut Aparts - Sentiments sheet.

It's Party Time!

 

Hiya Arty friends! Today I'm sharing a fun and bright card perfect for someone's special day, so let's get into it!

To start with, I took a A6 size panel of 350gsm white cardstock (10.5cm x 14.8cm), lightly misted it, and then ink smooshed across it with Sunflower Shimmer Dust that I turned into a watercolour puddle on my glass mat. Once I did a couple of layers (with heat setting in between), I set it aside to fully dry while I fussy cut out my images from the It's Party Time A4 Cut Apart sheet. 

 

I cut my panel down to 10cm x 14.3cm, then added my Punch Colour Paste through the Impression A5 Stencil in a couple of spots and then set it aside to dry again. Lastly, using a wet cloth, I dabbed through the larger side of the Impressions stencil to remove some of the Sunflower colour, leaving a light ghosted pattern. (see below).

 

I foam mounted my cut apart cupcake and sentiment, then glued the hearts and star into place. I add the panel to a top fold card base I made using the 250gsm white cardstock.

Autumn Whispers Celebrate Card

 Hiya Arty friends, today's card using the Autumn Whispers paper collection is one for the fussy cutters among us, so let's get into it! 

 

 I sat down with the 'Fascile' Sheet of fussy cutting elements and got to work cutting out a rainbow of the leaves and 4 of the mushroom images, removing the white borders as well. Once they were all cut out I used a strip of 250gsm cardstock to attach my fussy cuts to, working my up from the bottom, tucking elements in and overlapping them as I went. Once I had the majority of the pieces on the strip I cut off any white cardstock that was showing before attaching it to my panel of 'Fungus' patterned paper. I tucked in a couple more fussy cuts to full in any gaps and then added the sentiment from the 'Specimen' Sheet. I added a couple of enamel dots as a finishing touch. I added it to a A6 top fold card I made from the 350gsm white cardstock.
