Happy Little Moments By Tracey Campbell

 Hello Bee Arty friends.

Today I have a layout to share with you that has stamping, stencilling and the magic of Shimmer Dust.... what more could you want?

I started off by blocking out around the Dusk stencil with some plastic and placing it roughly in the centre of some heavy white cardstock.

I then spraying three different shades of  purple Shimmer Spray; Rose Petal, Royalty and Indigo through the stencil onto white cardstock.

I then moved the stencil to the left, lining up the print and strayed again.

The photo above is how the sprayed stencilling turned out.

Next I sprinkled two colours of Shimmer Dust; Velvet and Duke, across the bottom of the cardstock,

I then activated it with water.

As the Duke Shimmer Dusk was move bolder than colour than the Velvet I decided to sprinkle a bit more Velvet on and sprayed more water to make the coloured area bigger.

On the bottom of the cardstock I used the excess Shimmer Dust fluid that had run off the page and my finger to spread it over the bottom edge.

Here is how the base turned out, I love how vivid and bright the Shimmer Dust is compared to the muted Shimmer Sprays.

Once dry I used some waterproof black ink and stamped various images; Kind Heart, Heartfelt, and Meridian, around the bottom edge and half way up the left and right edges of the cardstock.

I then use Bling Colour Paste through the Mandala stencil.

Here is how the base turned out.

Next I backed a 6x4 photo with some vellum paper and gold foil cardstock and adhered it to the centre of the base.

Next fussy cut some flowers from the Tea Time in Wonderland Collection

Adhere the flowers around the photo, using some tacky glue in the centre and some 3 dimensional tape around the edges. Use a pen to press the centre of the flower down to the stick it to the cardstock. Use you finder to turn the flower pedals up to give them some dimension.

I used the end of a paint brush to add some Bling Colour Paste to the centre of the flowers to give them a touch of shimmer.

Using some Black waterproof ink I stamped the title "Happy Little Moments" from the Happy Stamp Set to the bottom left hand corner of the photo.

Wanting a bit more dimension in the flowers I used the Flower Stems metal dies and cut out four of each stem from the green coloured papers in the Embrace Change Collection

I then adhered the die cuts around the fussy cut flowers.

Here is how the final layout turned out. I love creating my own back ground with a bit of stamping and stencilling with the magic of Shimmer Dust, you never really know how it will turn out but it always looks stunning.

Thanks for popping in.

Love Us by Charmane Koch

Happy Friday Everyone! OOHHH it's one month until Valentines Day... so this layout is kind of perfect to get into the swing of things - hahah!

I decided to have yet another play with the Chit Chat Collection - wow how many layouts I have created using this fantastic collection now? Is it 4 or 5 maybe?

I started my layout off with a background I created recently using the Boxed In Stencil, some Heavy White Gesso and sprinkling on some Aquamarine Embossing Powder. I have then dried it with a heat gun.

How therapeutic is it watching the Embossing Powder bubble away??? Or it just me?

So I did that background back in December - as I did it on my "Mask On" layout and wanted to recreate the background and maybe show you how I did it? Who knows... that was sooo last year! heheh...

I decided that it was time to use it and the Aquamarine colour matched perfectly with the Chit Chat Collection Papers...

The other night, I wanted to scrap but had no mojo, so instead I got out this piece of paper and did some fussy cutting....

and yay.... {PS - I am not normally a fussy cutter, so don't look too close!}

So to put the page together it was all about layering & playing around with the bits and pieces I cut out. I also cut out the Grungy Filmstrip Metal Die  using Black Cardstock

It's perfect for a frame around photos, and also ripping the smaller filmstrip in half I have tucked underneath the other layouts on my page.

I then got out the fabulous Scrabble Stamp - how awesome are the alphas?

I stamped US onto one of the Chit Chat patterned papers to create my title...

I also used the cute Male/Female stamp on the Charms Creations DIY flag, and you will see I have stamped it all over the background. To create a different effect I have used a mix of Gel Medium & Slipper Artist Ink!

I also used the Happy Clear Stamp "Together is my favourite place to be" - this will be IN STOCK SOON!

How cute is this "love"?

And the FULL layout! Really had fun playing with this!

Thanks for popping by and I hope that I have inspired you to have a play with the Chit Chat Collection! It is a LOT OF FUN!

Smile by Charmane Koch

 Happy Friday Everyone!

Today is a quick share from me, as it's getting to silly season - ALREADY! I have so many things happening kid wise it is NOT FUNNY!

Anyway, I have only had a chance to play with the Chit Chat Collection based on and inspired by Karyn Schultz's awesome Facebook Live the other week - FIND IT HERE ON THE BEE ARTY HIVE!!

I used all of the different tips, tricks and techniques that Karyn shows us on her Live.  Including stencilling with Bee Arty Artist Inks, stamping on tissue paper

This is what the background looked like just with the stencilling... I also used bubble wrap to add extra interest. I just LOVE the stencilling technique! How fabulous does it look?

I also loved the tip of doing a few batches of the Chit Chat Dies using Black & White Cardstock and also Kraft. I decided to go with a mix of Black & White Chit Chat Dies.

And as you can see I have used my Inking & stamping technique again on the DIY Hearts.

I also coloured some muslin with the leftover Ink that I had and add it to my page too.

This is my version of Karyn's Live and I really love how it turned out!

I just LOVE the Chit Chat Stencils, Metal Dies & Stamps - these will be used many many times!

Anyway, I hope you will go and give Karyn's Techniques a go & I hope that I've inspired you even more to give it a try! So much FUN!

Thanks for stopping by & hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Take Care & STAY SAFE!

Happy Little Moments by Charmane Koch

Happy Friday Everyone! It's starting to look like it's getting to "some kind of normal" for us all again & hopefully we will be able to travel freely soon? We would love to visit family & friends in different states without the stress of quarantine!

Today I am sharing with you the layout I created last weekend using the lovely NEW Chit Chat Range

I totally love the colour combo here! When I saw the papers I KNEW which photos I was going to scrap first as soon as I saw them! I also had to have a play with colouring and stamping on my DIY Charms as well!

I started off by stencilling with modelling paste onto the fabulous My Heart Paper using NEW Linear & NEW Marked Stencils....

After I have dried with a Heat Gun I have got out the Shimmer Dusts to colour the stencil patterns - I used Lollipop, Peacock & Passion. After they had dried I also outlined in black pen.

I did create a little "quick" video of how I created my layout...

Here is the final layout! As you can see I have also used the Happy Clear stamp & I have also coloured some Muslin using the leftover Shimmer Dust & water I had left in my palette...

You can pop on over to the Bee Arty Hive to see how I coloured and stamped on my Charms DIY Heart HERE! For Some reason it won't upload on the blog!

I chose the Lollipop pink for the layout, the purple was just a bit too dark!

And here are more closeups... PS I did cut out from the Chit Chat Die using leftover Black Cardstock I had left, but only used the one cute speech bubble with the heart in the middle...

Thanks for popping by! I hope I have inspired you to have a play over the weekend!

Happy Scrapping!
