Teacher Thankyou Cards by Rachel Dutko

Hi everyone
How is your December?
For my family, this week is the last week of the school year
(can you believe it!!??) so today I am sharing some
quick and easy teacher thank you cards.

For my first card I sprayed some water colour card with Carribean Colour Spray
and let it dry naturally, creating pools of deeper colour.

I then applied some Tangareen Dream Colour Paste to some Kraft cardstock.

Once it was dry I stamped some butterfly images with archival ink then
fussy cut them out. I find the Kraft cardstock to be a lot sturdier for this technique.

Then it was just a matter of attaching my butterflies and some flowers,
stamping a sentiment and assembling my card.

Some close ups of those brilliant colours-

For my next two cards I used Blush and Envy Colour Shimmer Cubes
to create my first layer of colour.

To create some embellishments I stamped some butterflies on watercolour paper, then heat embossed with Deep Water Colour Embossing Powder.

Once again I added some stamping, thread,
my embellishments and the sentiment and the cards were done.

Thanks for looking
Rachel x x
