 Good afternoon how are you all ? Its been a while.... got to love computers blue screens of death... to kill mojo and creative sharing. Now comes the task of getting back into the groove and reinstalling everything that was on the computer ... arrggghhhh !! 

But enough of that its time to share my lastest creation using a little bit of ink.... in combination with Bee Arty stamps and stencils.

I used the Bee Arty Fushsia Fantasy Stamp set. I stamped in an archive in first then went over with a white gel pen this also allowed me to add dots and highlight the leaves in my background.

For the background I used the Bee Arty Sunrays A4 stencil.

If you add glass cabochons, they high light different details in your background.

Hi Bee Arty Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty!

 

To start with I create a background on a sheet of heavy duty 350gsm white cardstock. I use Colour Mica Powders that I have mixed with Gum Arabic and stored in a pan paint storage tin for easy access. I created a watercolour look background using a painting with plastic technique as well as adding paint splatters. I'm using Cool Mint, Peach Nectar and Stormy weather Colour Mica Powders to coordinate with the Find Paradise Collection papers. 

 

 

 

Next I add some stenciling using Cool Mint and Stormy weather Colour Mica Powders mixed with modelling paste and the Crab Art stencil.

 

 

 

I cut the white cardstock down to approx 11"x11" and mat it onto a sheet of Light Forest paper that I have cut a square out of the centre (I do this to conserve paper). 

 

 

Here is my finished page. I love the soft muted colour tones of this paper range and the mica powders - so pretty!

 

 

I have matted the photo with more papers from the Find Paradise Collection.

 

 

I created a selection of leaf and flower diecuts using the Leaves of Paradise metal die set and Flower Power die set, using both white cardstock and paper from the Find Paradise Collection.

 

 

I added some paper flowers, art stones and words cut from the Relax word paper.

 

 

A pineapple paper clip is a fun addition to the page.

"Note to Self" by Anita Enright

WOW!!! I can't believe it is August already!!

I hope you are loving all the inspiration that the Bee Arty design is bringing you.  And thank you all for supporting an amazing Australia company.

For my share today I created a very simple and bright page for my art journal.

I love playing with the artist inks as they are just so so rich in colour.... and of course I had to use my absolute favourite stencil.

I always apply a coat or two of Heavy White Gesso to my art journal page just to give it some more protection particularly when I am using very wet mediums.

After the gesso dried fully I then lightly sprayed with water and took several of my favourite Artist Inks and dropped several droplets of colour on the page and tipping and tilting the pages assisted with the movement of the colour.  In a couple of spots I used a wet brush to move and blend the colours.

I dried with a heat tool and then applied more colour to add more depth and strength.

When I created my page I didn't ensure the Artist Inks were completely dry before I applied my Mandela stencil to the page.  It didn't matter in the end as the paste picked up the colours a little and soften the overall effect.  I added some background stamping in black using the Textiles and Live Your Art clear stamps.  The wording I used on the page came from the Mantas Word Sheet from the Untangle collection. The black and white strip and doodle offcuts from around the wording I attached to the edges of the page. I finished the page just drawing around the outer edge around the wording with a black pen.

"Blooming into a Woman" by Anita Enright

Hi Everyone

I wanted to share with you a layout I created using Colour Blast by Bee Arty's Trendsetter collection.  I love these papers due to the colour combinations of blues and purples. Michelle Grant again designed a gorgeous collection.

Over the patterned paper I added some background stenciling.  I added some colour to my medium using the Passion Shimmer Dust to use with several stencils including the Croquis #2 stencil from the collection.  The Passion shimmer dust was also used to colour a couple of feathers and a couple of lace flowers.  I also coloured a further couple of lace flowers using some Oasis Artist Ink. Using some Embossing Powder in Lovely Lilac and Just Blue to colour the title.

All About Green - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Bee Arty Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty.
 

I'm also joining in with the April Creative Challenge "Monochromatic". We would love for you to join in on the challenge and be in the running to win a $30 online store voucher!

For my background I have started with a sheet of 12x12 white cardstock and applying Apple Of My Eye Colour Paste through the My Lady A4 stencil. 

Next I took a sheet of A4 white cardstock and used Colour Artist inks in Grass, Lime and Mermaid to create a colour wash over the page. Once this paper was dry I created a number of diecuts using the My Flower metal die. 

Once the stencilled image was dry I used the same Colour Artist inks in Grass, Lime and Mermaid to colour the image.

Here is my finished page.

Underneath my photo I've added a white paper doilie and some white muslin as a mat. 

I've added some of the flower diecuts around my photo as well as some paper flowers.

I've added a chipboard word painted in Soot Colour Artist ink, and some word stickers. Lastly I've added a few splatters of Soot Colour Artist ink.

Little Man ll Chrissi Mannix

 Hello Lovelies.

Chrissi here today, sharing with you, my inspiration for this months Monochromatic Challenge.

Every month there is a new challenge over on the Bee Arty Facebook Page, and this months challenge is a monochromatic theme.

Yo make my layout, I started with some Colour Blast Colour Spray in Caribbean. Using a large mop paint brush, I applied the spray strait from the bottle onto my page. I had first spritzed my page with water to give me that wet on wet flow. Then to move the ink around, I spritzed with more water.

After making sure this was dry, I then add some texture to my page by using the Enough Stencil. For this I used the darker Sapphire Colour Spray. It gave me a great tone on tone look. I had a small area of over spray that bothered me, but I managed to cover that, by using the left over ink on the stencil as a stamp, and stamping the stencil to my page- same stencil, different look.

I was really loving this backroug but I wanted to addmore to it, so I decided to do some stamping. Using a distress oxide ink and the Going my Way Stamp Set I added these cute star clusters.

Finding the layers around my photo a little too plain, I decided to add some grungy spots using the edge of the arrow stamp to add some interest.

To finish off the page, I doodled around some of the stars with a black pen and also gave my page a doodled border. I always love those little touches to finish a layout. Then I added my title and a touch of journalling.
