'Be Free'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa here on the blog today,
to share some crafty inspiration with you all.

Here is my layout,

'Be Free'

For this one, I have started with a white cardstock base.
I have used some of my Colour Sprays,
in 'Bubblegum', 'Roadbase' and 'Saffron',
to splash my page, in a circular pattern.

I have fussy cut the flowers from 'Heart - Cut & Colour' page from the
Love & Grace collection. I have used my Colour Sprays to paint them.
I have used 'Saffron' as the base colour for my flowers,
and I have added some highlights with the 'Bubblegum'.

For the leaves I have mixed 'Saffron' and 'Lagoon' to make the green.
I then adhered them to opposite corners.

I have fussy cut the floral frame,
from the 'Annie' 12 x 12 paper,
and have adhered it to the centre of my page,
overlapping the flowers.

I have then used the daisy square from the 'Lucas' 12 x 12 paper,
adhered as a diamond rather than a square.

I have then adhered my photo to the centre of the diamond.
I have also used the 'Sweet Floral' Die, to die cut from blue cardstock.
I have trimmed it up a bit to suit my page.

I have then adhered sentiments from the 'Love' Word Sheet Paper,
to my page. I have also added a fussy cut bee from the 'Heart' paper.

I really love the boho hippy feel to the page,
it describes my daughter and her bestie perfectly.

I hope that you like what I have created,

Until next time!

'Be You, Bravely'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello Bee Arty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some art journal inspiration with you.

'Be You, Bravely'

I have created this page in my journal,
I have started by using my 'Heavy Gesso' to seal my page.

I have then adhered pieces of the book paper and tissue paper,
left over from my 'Forever my Always' kit.

Up next some stencilling, for this I have used the 'Triangle Spray Stencil',
and 'Snow White Colour Paste'

Now for some colour. I have mixed together some
'Lagoon & Roadbase Colour Sprays',
to make a darker blue.
I have then used a water mister to dampen my page,
and then added some of my colours.

I have then added some stamping to my page using the script,
 from the 'Memories Stamp'
Next I used pieces from the 'Forever my Always papers',
to build up some centre layers.

I have fussy cut the bee from the same papers,
and layered it on a metal embellishment I had on hand.

Some more book paper strips and some word stickers to finish it off.

I am loving the layers of blue, grey and black,
that the sprays have created during mixing.

I hope that you like what I have created this time around.

I have used the following products:

Book & Tissue paper pieces

Until next time!

'Beautiful Soul'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today to check in with you all.
I have been busy creating,
and I have an art journal page to share with you.

'Beautiful Soul'

For this page, I have started with a coat of Heavy White Gesso,
to seal my page. I have then used some of my Colour Sprays,
in Lagoon & Bubblegum, watered down,
on my page. I have moved it around as it dried.

I have then used the Scripted Stencil and modelling paste,
to randomly stencil through to my page.
I have also used the Honey Hive Stencil and Heavy White Gesso,
to stencil onto my page.
A bit of stamping with the Geo Grunge Stamp Set

I have used the Forever Always Stamp Set
to stamp the flower lady onto white cardstock, with black ink.

I have also used the Wildflower Stamp Set, and cut the floral frame in half.
I have then used my Colour Sprays in Lagoon, Saffron,
Bubblegum & Road Base, to colour in the images.

I have then fussy cut them out to use on my page.
I have also fussy cut some bees, tags and the sentiment
from the Love & Grace papers, layered onto my page,
with a piece I have cut with the Honeycomb Die.

I hope that you like what I have created,
I love the bright, fun colours and that gorgeous lady!

Until next time!

'Capture'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello Bee Arty Fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.

I have loads of bits and pieces left over from my 'Forever My Always' March kit,
so I have created another layout to inspire you.

'Capture'

For this layout I have used a piece of Navy Cardstock as my base.
I have fussy cut the frame and florals from the 'Heart Beat' paper.

I have adhere the frame to the navy cardstock,
only by the centre, not adhering the edges.

I have then used the 'Jute Trim' from the kit,
cut into pieces, to the sizes of the straight pieces around the frame.

I have then adhered the trim, just under the edge of the cut frame.

Next, I have fussy cut a floral spray from the 'Gentle Heart' paper.
I have also fussy cut the floral from the journal card, from 'Heart & Soul'.

I have layered and adhered these pieces to the bottom left corner of frame.

I have then cut pieces from the 'Heart Beat' & 'Best by Far' papers.
I have layered these into the centre of my page, overlapping floral corner cluster.

I have then fussy cut floral and foliage from the 'Gentle Heart' paper,
and adhered to right side of photo, layering with photo matt.

I have then adhered a final flower to the bottom left corner of photo,
with foam tape, for added dimension.

To finish I have added a simple chipboard title that I already had on hand.

I really love all the gorgeous tones of blue in this collection,
and I couldn't help but get another layout done with it.
Perfectly finishing my daughters Year 12 Formal Album.

I hope that you like what I have created

Until next time!!

'Friends' with Lisa Amiet

Hello Bee Arty fans!

It's Lisa here on the blog today to share a new creation with you.
I have been playing with the 'Love & Grace' collection.

I have started with the 'Lucas' paper as my base.
I have added some mixed media, using the
'Scripted A5 Stencil' and some modelling paste.

I have added some stamping using the 'Memories Red Rubber Stamp',
and the 'Geo Grunge Stamp'.

I have also splattered my page,
using a mix of 'Roadbase Colour Spray' and 'Lagoon Colour Spray'.
I have used these to colour some of cut apart elements,
along with 'Gold Shimmer Spray'.

I have fussy cut the elements from the 'Lucinda' paper and 'Heart' paper.
I have used these in among my layers.

I have also used the 'Honeycomb Die' and the 'Sweet Floral Die',
to die-cut some background pieces from white & blue cardstock.

I have added in some flowers in blue & white to match my colour scheme.

I am really happy with this layout.
I am loving those blue tones!

I hope that you like it too!

Until next time!

'Par-a-dise'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello Bee Arty Fans!

It's Lisa here today on the blog to share my first post as part of the
Bee Arty Team, I am so excited to be here!

Here is my first layout :)
'Par-a-dise'

I have used the gorgeous 'Find Paradise' collection,
designed by Fiona Paltridge, and lots of other goodies!.
Perfect for my holiday pics!

I have used the 'Honey Hive A4 Stencil' and some
'Colour Paste - Blush' to randomly stencil through onto my base page.

I have also used the same Colour Paste to stencil through the 'Drifting Leaves A5 Stencil',
onto white card stock.

I love these drifting leaves! Now to fussy cut them.

I have then used the 'Geo Grunge Clear Stamp Set' and
the 'Memories Red Rubber Stamp Set',
and black ink, to randomly stamp around the stencilled area.

I have fussy cut the florals and foliage from the patterned papers,
to use to start building my layers, as pictured below.

I have also fussy cut the glass.
I have used my stencilled pieces, tucking into my layers,

I have also used the title and sentiment cut from the papers.

I love how this one turned out, perfect tropical feel for my page.
I hope you like what I have created too!

Until next time!
