"Road Trip" by Charmane Koch

 Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Hope you are all navigating through this very interesting start to 2022 - at the moment it's Online Learning or back to school or both! Life has never been more confusing! And we thought it was going to get better?

Anyway, we just gotta go with the flow, don't we?

Today I wanted to share with you a layout I created for a recent Aussie Day Crop - and how perfect was the Road Trip Collection to use?

I started off with this AWESOME "LOST" paper:

I knew I didn't need to do much with the background and that the "Tracked" Stencil would be perfect!

The Which Way Die was a perfect addition to my layout {the sign with the bird on top!} I decided to keep it plain so that it would stand out!

I just loved the little bits and pieces to cut out from the Exclusive piece in the Road Trip Collection pack!

The "Road Trip" Word was perfect too! I kept that plain to stand out too!

Quite a simple layout to put together once I had cut out all the bits! Added a bit of journalling, corrugated cardboard & a Charms Chevron!

Thanks for popping by and I hope I've inspired you to use your Road Trip Collection! Or if you haven't got your hands on it yet - check it out! Especially the fabulous Dies & Stencils!

These are the ones I used:

Travel 2 Escape by Charmane Koch

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you a layout I created based on the Kraft Plus Challenge for January - using Kraft and something to do with Travel... so I thought Destination Anywhere Collection would be perfect!

It's a layout I also scraplifted of my gorgeous friend and fellow Bee Arty Creative Team Member  Amanda Hartmann!

I made a video!

I started off with the Kraft Cardstock background where I had stencilled where I had stencilled on the Triangle Spray using some modelling paste.  I have then used the fabulous Bling Colour Paste scraping it through the AWESOME Capture Stencil.

I have also used the Happy Stamp, stamping "Happy Little Moments" & "Today is a perfect day"

Also I have cut out the Grungy Film Strip die, using the Destination Anywhere Journey Scrapbooking Paper. A piece of the same paper I have used as the backing for the photo.

The Road Trip Words Die "travel & escape" were perfect for my title, so I cut them out using Black Cardstock so that it would stand out.

I was going to use torn strips of cardboard along the top and the bottom of my layout but I decided to use strips of the "Let's Go" Scrapbooking paper.

I've cut out the tags from the Destination Anywhere kit, and inked the edges and added my journalling...

And some closeups over the layering...

I got out my Bling Mica Powder just to add a bit of gold here and there over the page....

And here is the end result! I really love how it has turned out so rich & golden!

Anyway, I hope I've inspired you to get out your Destination Anywhere papers & dies & stencils, and maybe even your Bling Colour Paste... or if you don't have any of these things YOU NEED THEM! So get shopping!

Hello Weekend Adventure by Charmane Koch

Hey guys! Happy Friday! I love Fridays.... because that means WEEEKEND!

Since the horrid "Covid" Ashan & I have started going on Date Nights & possibly stay the night somewhere else - of course not too far away! I created a layout of us, I still need to do the rest of the weekend! haha!

This layout I have created using a mix of Road Trip papers and some Bee Arty dies that I think matched well with the papers!

I started off with this gorgeous paper for the background - Open from the Road Trip Range... How gorgeous is this paper? I didn't even want to USE it! All the papers are just beautiful!

This reminded me of the Metal Die Arrow - "Seeker" from the Follow your Dreams Range & also the stamp from the Fearless Brave & Free Collection....

So I decided to cut out the Seeker Die twice using the Breathtaking Road Trip Paper. I also cut out the word Adventure from the Road Trips Word Die & decided I needed more layers so also cut out the Honeycomb Metal Die from the Love & Grace Collection.

To create the stamped effect I have mixed Heavy White Gesso with Polar Mica Powder to create a light blue paste that matched really well with the paper, as I wanted it to blend in, but still be seen.

I dabbed with a sponge dauber gently on the stamp - I must admit I did test it out on a spare bit of paper to make sure it worked!

I have layered papers tearing some and distressing others to create lots of texture on my page, also adding the Honeycomb Die in different layers of the paper too.

Here are some extra closeups...

I finished off with some machine stitching & a few extra embellishments from my stash... and of course journalling!

Here is the final outcome...

I hope I have inspired you to have a play with the Road Trip Collection & maybe mix it up with different Dies & try out the stamping technique too!

Happy Creating Everyone!
