Just A Kitchen Dance Party by Charmane Koch

 

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I am sharing with you a layout I created using a mix of Dies and Gold Mirror Board & Pink & Purple Shimmer Dusts from Bee Arty, it's amazing how many variants of colour you can get just from a couple of Shimmer Dust colours - depending on how much water is added.

I cut out a few different dies with Gold Mirror Board & white cardstock - Beaded Die, Desire Metal Die & Party Metal Die.  

I coloured the White Cardstock Dies with a mix of Lollipop & Passion Shimmer Dusts.

I also coloured a Charms Creations DIY Heart using the same mix of colours. I used the same colours for the background of the layout. I splattered the Shimmer Dusts with a paint brush.

I coloured the chipboard veneer with Passion Shimmer Dusts. Love the shimmery effect the Shimmer Dusts have.

Mixed Media Shadow Box by Sunila

 Hello Bee Arty lovelies,

Sunila here, back with an inspirational post. Recently, I found a chocolate box, which I thought would make a perfect Shadow Box. So I saved it for a project. Does this happen with you, checking anything and everything around you that can be altered? Well my family now knows to check things with me before they discard them :D!

I decided to use a family photo to document a birthday memory in the style of a shadow box. 

Here's a look at it:

This was a fun and easy project. All I had to do was choose papers, cover the box, add some die cut elements, and create a textured mixed media background. 

For the background, I added mica powders, colour paste using stencils, and black stamping.

Mixed Media Birthday Card by Sunila

 Hello bee arty lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! Today I'm sharing a step by step tutorial of a mixed media style birthday card!

Here's a look at the card

Step 1- Cut a card base- 10.5" x 5" and score at 5.25"

Step2- Stencil candles on a scrap piece of paper using colour pastes.

Step 3- Colour the flame with artist ink and fussy cut the candles. 

Step 4- Cut a piece of pattern paper slightly smaller than the white base. Add texture with stencil and inks.

Step 5- Add another layer of texture with background stamps and emboss it.

Step 5- Stamp other elements, colour them with inks and fussy cut them. I have also die cut some elements for this card. Finally put them all together and build a scene.

Harmony's 15th Birthday by Charmane Koch

 Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you my layout I created using the Mixed Embossing Powder Technique & the fabulous NEW Fireworks Collection! How FUN & AWESOME is it!

I used the cute Dies from the Party Metal Die & the Numbers Metal Die from the Fireworks Collection.  I used the 350gsm White Cardstock. I coloured using Mica Powder and Water - Bling for the present, party hat & the Numbers, and Lollipop for the banner.

I used Snow White Colour Paste to create the Candles Stencil background behind the photos...

How awesome did this background turn out? Used the Fireworks Stencil!

I have used the Uppercase Stamp to create my "Birthday" title & randomly stamped the little starburst pattern.

Time to play with your Fireworks collection & maybe even try some Embossing?

"Party Girls" by Charmane Koch

Hey Guys!

Happy Tuesday! We will ignore all dramas of the world and focus on the fun, brand NEW Fireworks Collection!!!

Who's played with it yet? 

Today I wanted to share with you a layout I created with leftover mix of Embossing Powders...I did end up pouring way too much on that first layout!

To start my layout I have sprinkled Wine, Candy & Lollipop Shimmer Dusts over the top of a sprayed piece of White Cardstock. I have then sprayed a little more, then using a heat gun dried the page off...

I have then stencilled on the Candles over the top of that using White Gesso, then sprinkled the Embossing powder over the top. I have then dried it with a Heat Gun.

I did a little MINI VIDEO over in the Bee Arty Hive on how I did the Music Notes stamp from the Funtime Clear Stamp - using Versamark Clear Ink, then sprinkling over MORE of the Embossing Powder!

I also stamped "Party Girls" using the Uppercase Stamp Set & Embossing Powder too...

I cut out some of the presents & the cute banner from the Party Metal Die {so cute!} to add to my layout...

I decided it needed a colourful edge to my layout so I used the Sparkles paper, trimming the White Cardstock & distressing with a bit of machine stitching to finish it off!

I love how it all come together!
