Moments Like These - With Karyn Schultz!

  Hi Bee Arty Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of fabulous arty products from Bee Arty.

I'm playing along with the May mood-sketch challenge. We would love for you to join in with this challenge and be in the running to win a Bee Arty online voucher. You have until May 30th and you need to upload your challenge here (please follow challenge rules).

For my page I've been inspired by both the colours and the sketch of this mood-sketch challenge.
I started with a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock and used a painting with plastic technique to add Apple of my Eye and Stormy Weather Mica powders.
Then I added splatters of Apple of my Eye, Stormy Weather and Peach Nectar Mica powders.
I added stamping using the Forever Always stamp, from the Forever My Always collection, and Black Archival ink.

I added texture to my page using the My Lady A4 stencil (from the Forever My Always collection) and some Peach Nectar Mica powder mixed with a white crackle texture paste (or heavy white gesso would work well also).

Here is my completed page. My Horse Tommy is such a character - he makes me laugh!

To complete the page I've added photo mats and strips of paper along the top of the page using Embrace Change paper offcuts.
I've added fussy cut images also from the Embrace Change paper collection.
I've added a bird diecut from the Bird Talk metal die set
a flower diecut from the Calendula metal die set (Bohemian Bliss collection),
and a large flower from the My Flower metal die
The diecuts were created using 250gsm White Cardstock and Matte Brown foil Mirror cardstock.

Words were cut from the Embrace Change paper collection.

I added a metal flair, paperclip and chevron wood veneer from my stash.

Lastly I've added journalling using a fine black Life of Colour paint pen

Thanks so much for stopping by

Happiness card by Tracy Jackson

                                                                  Hello Bee Arty Fans

As promised from last post I mentioned I would make 3 cards, using the cut out from Embrace Change Collection designed y Fiona Paltridge

I had already pre cut images when I made first card.
I always do this and then put any extras in a snap lock bag, and label it so I don't loose any pieces.

I then play around until I find a layout that I'm happy with.
Using layers always seem to make me happy

I  inked all the edges so they didn't stand out and found a word that I wanted
Happy, I then glued everything down using Art Glitter Adhesive,.

Still in lockdown over here. I thought I would have a heap of time to create, but in reality I have just about no time as I'm busy updating paperwork for work
Luckily I have one more card in the wings, to give me time to think about which collection I want to play with next

Until next time, stay safe..

Embrace Change - Card 1 by Tracy Jackson

 Hello Bee Arty fans

Luckily my DT parcel arrived late last night filled with new collections that I haven't yet had a chance to play with... And I say luckily because we now have delta covid on our New Zealand shores and have gone into snap lockdown, and this parcel arrived in the nick of time considering I had nothing left! LOL

So over the next few posts I do I will be doing 3 cards using the cut out from Embrace Change Collection designed y Fiona Paltridge

I sat down and cut all the pieces out

I then picked out the background called Spice I was going to use for all 3 cards, - I then put two aside for a later date so I could finish the first card

I picked out the fern like greenery and butterfly, but felt like it needed bit more so hand tore the left over paper then inked the edges

Placed and glued them down using Art Glitter Adhesive

Glued down the butterfly, and picked out a word from Poetry which I wanted to use, inked all edges and mounted onto a white card

The longest part of the whole card is to fussy cut the images. But when you have sore eyes and are giving them a break from colouring or aren't confident in colouring, this is the perfect solution.

I going to work on the next couple cards during lockdown..

Until next time, stay safe..
Happy crafting

Celebrate Every Moment Everyday by Tracey Caampbell

Hello creative people, hope that you are all staying safe as more lockdowns happen here in Australia. Today I am sharing my latest Creative Team design using the Embrace Change Collection, it is such a lovely collection florally and grungy at the same time. The colours are delicate and masculine at the same time.

This layout looks stunning and was very simple to create, it came together very quickly and if you want to create a quick and easy layout then please follow along.

I used the following materials on my layout:

Embrace Change Papers: Gathering, Festival, Poetry and the Bonus cut-a-part sheet

Unwind Stamp Set

Sienna Embossing Powder

Clear Embossing Ink

Heat Gun

Double sided sticky tape

Scissors

Clear drying paper glue

3 dimensional tape

First up I stamped the flowers from the Unwind Stamp set onto the Gathering Patterned Paper, I stamped onto the lighter coloured side, with some clear embossing ink.

Sprinkle the Sienna Embossing Powder over the clear embossing ink, pour off the excess and activate with a heat gun to set. See the photo below for the position of the flowers.

Cut a rectangle that is roughly 6.5 cm x 25.5 cm of the Festival Patterned Paper (I used the lighter coloured side) use this as a mat for three 6.5x6.5 square photos. Position them so they run vertically down the mat paper and are slightly angled and over lapped.

Fussy cut a title from the Poetry Patterned Paper and then floral, butterflies and foliage from the bonus cut-a-part sheet.

Adhere the mated photos onto the background paper, positon so that it is slightly off centre.

To finish off using glue and 3 dimensional tape arrange the fussy cut elements around the mated photos.

Well I hope that I have inspired you to get out your scissor and do some fussy cutting, it show that you can create a lovely page with just a few items.

Hugs

Tracey

Remember by Charmane Koch

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope it is anyway, in this craziness we call LIFE these days!

Hoping you are all well & able to cope with all the restrictions we all have and it isn't too confusing????

Anyway, I am here to bring you some INSPIRATION... this time using the BRAND SPANKING NEW "Embrace Change" Collection designed by the lovely Fiona Partridge!

I started off with using the Pavement Stencil, however, from the Destination Anywhere range, as it totally matched the photos I was using. The Embrace Change "Festival" & "Change" papers were the perfect colours to use though.

I matted all 4 photos I had using the "Change" paper. Then distressed the edges, and with Leather Mica Powder watered down I coloured the edges.

I used the gorgeous NEW Rosewood Colour Paste - this colours is just magnificent! I scraped it through the stencil onto the "Change" paper, a little at the top left of the paper, then on the bottom right.

I coloured the String Leaves Die Cut  & "Remember" wood veneer title using the Pine Embossing Powder  {in the Northern Lights Embossing Bundle} & Versamark Watermark Ink.

I also decided to use the "Change" paper to create a one of a kind Charms Creations Heart... of course this means it matches perfectly with the whole layout!

And after fussy cutting 3 of the gorgeous butterflies from the Embrace Change Collection, I stuck these on my layout to finish it off...

They finished off the page nicely!

I am sure you love this collection as much as I do! It's just beautiful! If you haven't ordered it already NOW is the time! You can ORDER IT HERE!

Thanks for stopping by!

XO Charm

Moments Like These by Belinda Spencer

 Hello Bee Arty fans!

It's Belinda with you today to share my latest layout for Bee Arty featuring the stunning NEW Embrace Change Collection by Fiona Paltridge.

I started this layout by cropping a sheet of patterned paper from the Embrace Change collection and adding it to some of the fabulous 350gsm white cardstock. I spritzed on some Love Colour Spray, spritzed with a little water and played around with it, letting it drip down the page, until I was happy with the coverage. I dried it off with a heat gun.

Next I used the brand new Rosewood Colour Paste with the Cascading Leaves A5 Stencil from the Embrace Change collection and then dried with the heat gun again letting the paste bubble a little for extra texture.

I added some stamping using Ranger Archival Ink  and the Say It and Watermark Stamps

Next I added my paper layers cropped from patterned papers in the Embrace Change Collection along with die cuts using the Web, Old Leaves and String Wreath Dies. I added some fussy cut leaves and flowers that I coloured using Life of Colour Watercolour Pens and Aged Mahogany Distress Ink.

Finally I added my title and remaining embellishments.
