Forever In My Heart by Charmane Koch

 Hello Lovely People!

Just a quick share from me today, using few layers of the Whispering Woods papers, that I thought matched perfectly with a photo I found of my baby brother... and the chipboard title was also perfect.

I Embossed the Chipboard title using Olive Sparkle Embossing Powder

I also created a Charms Creations Heart to match with the papers.

I thought this 80's photo was perfect with the colours of the Whispering Woods paper.

I kept it quite simple by adding a few embellishments - sequins, paper flowers, bow & Paper Doiley.

There'll be a little video over on the Bee Arty Hive to show you how I layered it altogether & embossing the Forever in my Heart chipboard.

I did do a bit of machine sewing over the top of the layered papers, just for a bit of extra texture too.

I used two sheets of the Forest Floor paper...

I used Olive Sparkle Embossing powder from the Sweet Stuff Embossing Bundle {only $20 for 4 colours!}

I hope I've inspired you to whip up a layout! Just layer up your papers, a little bit of paper tearing - stick it all down, add a few embellishments and you have a layout! Oh, and why not have a play with some Embossing Powder while you are at it!

Happy Creating :)

Thanks for popping by!

"ART makes everything AWESOME" by Charmane Koch

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you a layout created by the leftover embossing powders from the previous layout, that I STILL haven't shared because although I DID finish it, I was too late to take a photo of it before it got to dull and dark here in Wintery South Australia!

What I have done is using Snow White Colour Paste I have randomly stencilled using a palette knife and the Loops & Lines Stencil from the Untangle Range, then with the excess mixed Embossing Powders which were the colours Blueberry Shine, Mulberry sparkle, Sky Light & Key Lime... It was really an experimental thing - but that's the joy of creating isn't it? Playing with colours is just so much FUN!

I heat gunned the embossing powders, and as you can see its not "perfect" but that is the way I like it!

I also had another play using the Mini Misters - I added Water and then two little scoops using the cute Craft Powder Spoon and the Lush, Peacock, Lollipop & Passion Shimmer Dusts - and randomly sprayed a 12x12 White 350gsm Cardstock paper - in hindsight I should have gesso'd first! as it did bend a little!

Once dried I cut the centre out, as I wanted to use the outer as the base for my main layout, but didn't want to waste the middle...

I have then stuck down the photo onto the sprayed Cardstock and created a matte to back the photo. This just adds another layer. I have used mounted double sided tape to left it from the background paper, which allowed me to tuck the Charms Heart underneath.

I had a Die Cut Cog Globe that I thought was perfect for the layout - as I wanted the idea of my daughter Ryarne unleashing her creative artistic side - with the "Ideas" Globe... I decided to use Dusty Charcoal Embossing Powder to colour it...

To finish the layout I trimmed the edges and then distressed it, used double sided tape to stick the top cardstock to the sprayed cardstock. I have added a couple heart & bow embellishments and the cool Arty transparencies too.

I really love how it turned out - a fun photo & so much fun experimenting too!

Hope you like it as much as I do!

Thanks for popping by!

You have my Heart by Charmane Koch

 Happy Monday Everyone!

Hoping your week will be a wonderful one!

Today I wanted to share with you one of the layouts I created based on a Challenge that we had at the AMAZING Bee Arty Retreat!

Here's a closeup...

We had to use the Love & Grace Elmore paper - which is gorgeous just by itself...

Sorry I don't have any step-by-steps as I didn't take any on retreat! {silly me!}

I however started off by stencilling the gorgeous Rose Reveal stencil from the Love & Grace Range using some modelling paste to the top left & bottom right of the gorgeous designs on the page... I have then quickly dried with a heat gun.

Using Apple of my Eye & Blush Mica Powder I have added water to colour the Rose Reveal stencil, & the White Doily that I have tucked behind the photo.

Before sticking everything down, I also lightly stamped the Memories Stamp which was another requirement for the challenge!

I cut out a few dies using the 350gsm White Cardstock - Runway, String Leaves & String Wreath and then embossed them using Key Lime & Baby Pink from the Mermaid Embossing bundle! Such beautiful colours!

Here are the Dies, Stamp & Stencil I used for this layout:

To finish off my layout I have trimmed the edges and distressed and backed with the fabulous nice and thick 350gsm White Cardstock.

I really love how this page turned out using so many of the AWESOME products at Bee Arty!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to play today!
