"Today" by Mal

Hi all,
Mal here with my latest share of all things Colour Blast.

Yes no photo...I'm really enjoying scrapping at the moment with no photos, just enjoying the creative process without having a photo dictate what I can do.

So you know I love the Artist Inks, so easy to use, great colours and they can be used in heaps of different ways. This page I used them in one main way and I think they look pretty good.

So I started with some Heavy White Gesso on my background as I knew I was going to use lots of inks and sprays and didn't want to saturate my cardstock.

Next I sprayed some Sunshine  Colour Shimmer Spray and let it run all over the page and then dried it.

Now the fun begins.
I took the Citrus  Colour Artist Ink and some gauze and dipped the gauze just a bit in the ink and then dabbed it on my page and rubbed it a bit.

I then kept adding more inks in more colours like Barley, Citrus, Cider and Slipper...aren't they gorgeous.

I then used the gauze and layered it with my frame and some punchinella and then all my embellishments.
Finally some drops and splats of Soot  Colour Artist Ink.

And the bonus of using the inks this way with some gauze is no messy fingers, well only a little bit.

Happy scrapping...Mal xxx
