Day 3 Product Introduction - Colour Embossing Powder

Welcome to Day 3 of our product introduction!

Today we are introducing to you our Colour Embossing Powders.  Our Colour Embossing Powders have been been designed for mixed media, so they are not a clean fine detailed embossing powder.  When you use these embossing powder you will be left with a MICA residue.  We DO NOT recommend this embossing powder for those TRADITIONAL paper crafter's who like a clean finish.

Colour Range
There are 21 colours available in the Colour Embossing Powders - same colour range as our Colour Paste and Colour Shimmer Sprays  - allowing you to use different mediums that match.
Directions
Shake well before use. Apply a wet ink to the surface.  Sprinkle embossing powder onto the wet inked area.  Sprinkle excess embossing powder back into the jar.  Use a heat tool to melt the powder.  Repeat this process for a desired finish.

Storage
Store your Colour Embossing Powder in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight.

Techniques
1. Use any wet ink - ink your surface ie chipboard with ink and then open the embossing powder and sprinkle over your chipboard.  Dust off the excess embossing powder and use a heat tool to melt the embossing powder.  You can repeat this process as many times as you like until you get the look you are after.

2. You can stamp using embossing powder.  Use a wet ink to stamp your image onto your surface and then pour embossing powder onto your image.  Dust off the excess embossing powder and use your heat tool to melt the embossing powder.

3. Stencil with your embossing powder.  Place a stencil onto your surface and use a wet ink over the surface of the stencil.  Remove the stencil and sprinkle embossing powder over the stenciled image.  Dust off the excess embossing powder and melt with your heat tool.

4. Emboss Metals by covering the surface of the metals with a wet ink and then sprinkle embossing powder onto the surface of the metal.  Use your heat tool to melt the embossing powder.

5. Sprinkle embossing powder into wet mediums such as Colour Paste - so use a stencil and spread Colour Paste across your surface (while it is still wet) sprinkle embossing powder over the Colour Paste and then use your heat tool to set the Colour Paste and Embossing Powder.
