Life is Pretty Amazing Layout by Farrel Tailor

Hi everyone, I'm back with another layout to share with you all today.
I also have a process video for this layout so be sure to check it out.

I wanted to create a grungy looking layout and what better products to use than Colour Blast!! This photo is of my oldest son at the skate park.

So sit back and relax and let me show you the process in making this super easy layout. :-)

I started by stamping with Kaisercraft Graffiti stamp and black archival ink

I then tore a section on 3 sides of my patterned paper and sprayed with water to help roll the edges

I used a Tim Holtz stencil "Cargo" and Dusty Charcoal Colour  Shimmer Spray to spray onto my layout.

I then used the reverse side of the stencil to stamp onto the layout.

I used both my finger and a baby wipe to spread on Leather Colour  Paste onto my chipboard Clock. While it was still wet, I sprinkled Stormy Weather Colour  Embossing Powder randomly as I didn't want to coat the whole chipboard. To help give it a rusty look, I then sprayed with
Dusty Charcoal, Leather and Bling Colour Shimmer Spray

I wanted to do a similar thing with my cog die cuts so I used black cardstock as I know the Colour Shimmer Sprays really pop when applied to a dark colour. I sprayed both Leather and Bling Colour Shimmer Spray.

Once I added all my layers including builders tape, chipboard and cogs I then splattered the layout using white gesso with water, Road Base and Lagoon Colour Sprays, Bling and Leather Colour Shimmer Sprays

Here are some close up of how the chipboard and cardstock cogs worked out.

Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to click the link below of my process video

Happy Scrappin' xx
