3 small containers
-
Black Archival Ink
Apply 2 coats of Gesso to the page and dry off.
In containers add a quantity of Gesso to each, then add a tiny amount of Shimmer dust (peacock, duke and lollipop) to each container with the Craft Powder Spoon.
Mix individual colours.
With a paint brush
apply the Navy gesso mix over the page.
Dry off.
Add more Gesso
to the blue mix, apply the light coloured mix through the Humps
A6 stencil with a silicone sponge randomly over
the page.
Add
another layer using the Humps
A6 stencil but using only white Gesso. Turn the
stencil with different angles to randomly add the stencil around the page.
Wash
stencil thoroughly.
This layer - using
the Lollipop gesso mix apply through the Flux
A6 stencil with a silicone sponge. No need to for
perfection in these layers as much of the layer will be covered. Dry off.
Next layer – add more
Gesso
to the lollipop mix, apply the light coloured mix through the Flux
A6 stencil with a silicone sponge randomly over
the page. Dry off.
Finally apply white
Gesso
through the Flux
A6 stencil, changing the angle of the stencil as you cover the page. Dry off.
Add texture paste
to the Peacock gesso mix, apply the paste through the Flux
A6 stencil in several spaces over the page.
Add more Lollipop
and texture paste to pink mix, apply 2 spaces on the page.
Allow to dry
thoroughly.
Outline the shapes
using the Life
of colour pens – black.

For this project I
selected some leftover diecut shapes to embellish the page.
Stamp the words onto cardstock offcut with Archival Ink stamp pad in black. Cut out and distress the edges with black ink.
Add some spatters over the page in the blue and pink, this ties the composition together.
Adhere all the embellishments to the to the page.
