So Cool - by Amanda H

Hi Colour Blast fans!
Hope you are ready for a bright page today!!!!
Here is a sneak peek before I show you the steps I took to create it....
To create this page, I started with an awesome 12 x 12 flower/leaf stencil. Through this, I used Colour Paste in Dusty Charcoal.

Next I grabbed my Colour Artist Inks in various colours and started painting the various leaves and flowers on the page.

Started with Lime on some leaves.
Then I added some Grass to add some extra depth and colour to the leaves.
Then I combined Oasis, Calypso and Mermaid, for some of the flowers.
Finally, I combined Slipper and Cider to create a pinky-orange flower.
For the title, I painted a wood veneer word with a few coats of White Heavy Gesso.
Then I used the same Slipper and Cider combination to paint the word. I finished the word with a coat of dimensional magic for some shine.

And here is the final page.
I totally love the vibrancy achieved with Colour Artist Inks. Check out these close ups of the flowers and leaves.
Thanks for looking today.
Amanda
