Key is the Love by Tracy Jackson

Good morning Bee Arty fans...

Today I want to share my latest card from the collection - Time Flies.

First I stamped out Time Flies Clear Stamp three times and embossed it. I wanted to fussy cut some of the stamp elements to give a 3d impression

Next I coloured the image using the paper colours for reference using alcohol markers

I then used background stamp called Metal Plates and distressed the edges with Distress Inks

Next I prepared the background, by picking one of the amazing rusty looking pages from the same collection. I distressed around edges and mounted on card stock

I wanted to add a little texture so snipped off a bit of cheese cloth and coloured it with some Mica Powder - Leather

End result - minus a picture of messy fingers

While the cheese cloth was drying I picked out elements I wanted to fussy cut from the collection and the words from the Curious sheet

Once all elements and cloth were glued down I then raised the cut out elements of the bird with foam dots.

Hope you are enjoying this collection as much as me, if you haven't got it then put it on your wish list... it is amazing!

Until next time... Happy crafting

Unlock Your Dreams by Tracy Jackson

Good morning Bee Arty fans...

Today I wanted to do something a little different. I wanted to play with a paper range and one stamp.

I decided the amazing Time Flies collection was yelling at me to play with so I have an art journal page to show your this week featuring just its amazing paper range and in a fortnight I will be back to show you a card using the same paper range.

So to start with I loved this image the moment I saw her. She was a little bigger than I first thought, maybe a little to big for a card, but perfect for an art journal. You can find this sheet called Time -  Cut and Colour

I coloured her in copics and pencils - picking up the colours that the collection is in.
This paper she is on was a pleasant surprise, it was a dream to work with alcohol markers on

Image done - time to work on background.

I teared and glued paper called Dream down. but not before cutting all the edges that looked like rivets as I wanted these to frame the art journal.
Using stamp called Metal Plates I roughly stamped here and there. I didn't want it perfect, none of my art journals have perfectly stamped backgrounds.

I then fussy cut elements from Time Flies collection pack

After moving the elements around several times and finally deciding on final placement I glued them down

I did using a little bit of Mica Powder - Leather, to make everything pop a little, but you cant really see it in the photos. I hope you have enjoyed looking through my step by step and it has given you some inspiration to give something similar a go.

Until next time... Happy crafting
