Hello Arty Bees!!
It's Belinda here with you today to share my latest layout for Bee Arty inspired by the October Sketch Challenge.
Here's a peek at the sketch:
I turned it on its side like this:
I created my background using gorgeous Embrace Change Collection patterned papers mounted on a 350gsm white cardstock base. I added some washi tape (from my stash) strips at the edges as per the sketch. Then I grunged up the papers using Road Base Colour Spray. I spritzed a little onto a piece of plastic packaging and added it to the layout. I continued until I had the coverage I needed and then I flicked some of the colour over the surface too.
Once dry, I added some stamping using the Grateful Heart Bokeh Stamp Set and Jet Black Archival Ink.
I layered up some of the patterned papers from the collection behind my photo and added to the layout with adhesive just in the middle so I could slip in a bunch of stuff around the stack.
I used the Web Metal Die with the white cardstock and then tore the die cut into pieces to put behind and around my photo stack as well as a small piece in the upper left.
I fussy cut some flowers and butterflies from the Embrace Change Turning patterned paper and added those to the page.
I finished with the title and quote cut from the patterned paper as well as a little more stamping using the Embrace Change Say It Stamp Set with the black ink.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today. I hope you find some time to play along with the challenge this month. I love a good sketch to make things easier and I hope you do too.
Cheers
Belinda
