 Hi how are you? Have been busy creating some mixed media backgrounds over the week and I have to say its been fun just to create with Bee Arty Stamps, stencils and cardstock.

I have created a process video for you to follow along with.

By inking your flowers on a plain piece of cardstock you can create a flower background which you can blend out with the Bee Arty Laced Stencil

Add shadow to the Floral Delights Flowers with either a watercolour pencil or stabilo.

 Good morning how are you? School holidays has just kicked off here in Western Australia, which means spending time with the family, getting out in the garden and with that thought it prompted the inspiration for todays layout.

 Good morning how are you? The weather has taken a turn for the worse here in WA so that means its a prefect excuse to get playing in the studio so I thought I would share with you my latest collection using the amazing Halloween collection - Pumpkin Spice.

To start off I fussy cut the wreath out to give me a base where I can add thing under and above the wreath, like digital cut files which work by adding more embellishments into a layout and it allows you to layer your fussy cut ephemera.

 

Fill in the cut files with the left over cut out piece from the wreath.

Add some Butterflies from the Cut Apart sheet #9.

 Good morning how are you? Hope you are finding some creative time, I did over the past weekend when I attended a local retreat, I did manage to create 9 layouts which I am super happy about. But on a positive note it did wake up the mojo which isnt a bad thing.

So with Rustic Blossom there are a number of large cogs and flowers in the corners of the pages so dont be afraid to cut them out, you can blend out there edges with chipboard and fussy cut flowers from the Exclusive Cut Apart sheets.

Dont be afraid to cut apart chipboard to give direction around your layout.

Mix art stones and glitter the more layers the better.....
