Schoolday Stories Graduation Card

Hiya Arty friends and welcome back to the Bee Arty blog! Today I'm sharing a card using the recently released Schoolday Stories stamp and stencil so let's get into it!

To start, I took a sheet of 250gsm white cardstock and cut down a strip that was 30cm x 10.5cm, then cut in half to have 2 15cm x 10.5cm panels.

On the first white panel, I stenciled the Tartan A4 Stencil in 2 blue inks and set it aside to dry. Meanwhile I stamped the book stack from the The Graduate stamp set onto the second panel of 250gsm cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and set aside to dry before colouring it in with alcohol ink markers. I also stamped my sentiment from the stamp set in the same darker blue ink I used on the stenciled panel and cut it to size.

To assemble I cut down the stencil panel to approx 9.7cm x 14cm and foam mounted it onto a blue cardstock base. I then glued my sentiment to my book stack and then foam mounted that to the bottom right.

Have you made any cards with this collection? We'd love to see them! Thanks for stopping by and we'll see you again soon. - Kelly :)
