Hi Everyone. Today I am sharing a layout created with the Bee Arty, 'Grateful Heart' Paper Collection , the 'String Leaves' Metal Die and the 'Heartfelt' Clear Stamp Set' The die is a great photo frame and the each stamp in the set has been used to tie all the elements together.
- Cut a range of flowers and buds from the reverse of the 'Heart' 12x12. Color the stamens an orange tone
- Stamp the floral heart in black ink from the 'Heartfelt' Stamp Set and cut it out.
- In a shade of purple, stamp the 'Love' sentiment into the center of the heart. Rub some of the ink on a splat mat, water it down and paint around the inner walls of the heart.
- Cut out the 'Start each day...' sentiment from the 'Blessed' 12x12. Cut onto 2 sections and add some decorative lace to the lower edge of the 2nd half as pictured below.
- Tear small strips 12cm long, 1.5cm wide of the patterned paper from the 'Faith' 12x12 and offset with a strip of pale orange 1cm wide. Cut into 2 sections to layer behind the main photo.
- Cut off a 5.5cm strip down the left side of the 'Together' 12x12. Flip it over to the purple contrast and reassemble using a decorative strip from the 'Blessed' 12x12 to cover the join. Ink around the edges in coordinating colors and distress around the edges.
- Tear a small section at the top near the join. Roll the edge to see the contrast from the reverse and attach a piece of decorative lace from behind in the gap.
- Die cut 2 of the String Leaves frames in contrasting colors, from the 'Love' 12x12.
- Cut large and small flowers and leaves from the 'Gathers' & 'Heart' 12x12's, coloring the stamens.
- Layer the 2 frames together only gluing at the points where the flower clusters will be so they look to be floating on each other, then attach a photo from behind.
- Attach your framed photo to the page.
- Following the line of the rosebuds, tuck and attach the sets of decorative strips prepared earlier, 1 up and 1 down, to poke out from behind the photo.
- Arrange and attach your flower clusters using the picture below as a guide.
Happy Creating, Enjoy! Kx
