I was looking for some no-fuss creating that still looked effective & had that mixed media look that I love so much and I found it in the Fearless Brave and Free range of papers. I was so happy that Paige had suggested this kit to me - just what I needed during lockdown when I had minimal supplies.
I have used Fearless Brave and Free's Comfort Zone as the base layer for this 12x12 layout. I have also cut a few of the word strips from the Free word cardstock sheet. These will run across the top and bottom of the photo. I have also cut some rectangles of the orange from the Fearless Brave and Free's - Chance cardstock. I have used both sides of this paper utilising the orange and the black spot in the photo stack.
I have stitched a double border where the photo stack will go and then adhered the photo stack to the the page. I have then cut the Grungy Filmstrip die - Large Frame and coloured it using Colourblast dye ink - Marine. This was cut in half and glued just under the photo stack.
The next step was to glue down all the word strips. After doing this I took my black pen and free-hand drew around each one. I have then used the Meridian stamp and black ink to stamp from the corners of a few strips and tapered out and down from them. I have added some twisted cotton to each side of the photo just under the photo stack.
Finally a stitched black border, personal typed journaling & a flair was added to the page.
Thanks for popping in & have a great week full of creativity.
