I'm Walking on Sunshine created by Tracey Thorne

I have been very lucky to get myself an early delivery of the new collection created by Fiona Paltridge called Bee the Sunshine. This range is amazing - it has lots of  vibrancy and versatility on every page. The stamps sets are fabulous one set gives a beautiful fine stamped image & the other stamp set is a great grunge feel for background stamping - faultless and so perfect for all your stamping needs from scrapbook layouts and cards to mixed media - a definite must have. I forgot to mention the stencils - oh yes - fabulous florals and fantastic hexagons -  you will want to get this kit it is a must have.

Now for a little teaser - I have created a 12x12 layout using 4 of the printed cardstock available in the range - Painted Honeycomb, Kindness, Honey and the Collection page.
I have created the photo stack using Painted Honeycomb picking two of the colours on the page and layering them alternatively before adding my photograph. I have also added a little fabric inbetween the layers - a used nappy wipe that I have cleaned up a bit of the blush colour with was perfect to help out with this process.

The layout was created on a base of 350gsm cardstock and to that I have brayered on a mixture of Midnight Shimmer dust and water. I have stitched two frames on to the page with my sewing machine. The next step was to grab one of those fabulous stencils - A5 Honeycomb Spray - and with a mixture of Modelling paste and Colour Mica powder in Blush add it to the page in 3 places.

I have used both stamp sets on my page, utilising Find Your Way with its grunge look and then the Flower Arrangement set with the fine branches protruding from the grunge. All were stamped using black ink.

I have cut the black and white leaves from the Collection Page and layered these as well as two of the jars that were also on that sheet. The title was created using words cut from the Kindness printed cardstock and the added word strip was from the Honey page.

I've added a bit of black cotton and some splatters using Colour Dye Ink in Soot to help tie in the layers to the background.  Thickers were used to finish off the title and to complete the page I have  used a black pen to doodle the outer border.

I hope you get the chance to pick up one of these fantastic kits when they become available... I have almost run out of mine so will have a lot more things to share over the coming month using this amazing Collection.
