Valentine's Day Cards

Hiya friends! It's almost time to sweep that loved one off their feet, and today I'm sharing three cards I've made using the Valentine's Day A4 Cut Apart Sheet and the smoooooothest paste I think I've ever used, so let's get into it!

To start with, I cut three 14.3cm x 10cm panels from the 250gsm white cardstock and spread the Punch Colour Paste through the Impression A5 Stencil onto each panel randomly then set those aside to dry.

In the meantime, I chose what images I wanted to use from the A4 Cut Apart Sheet and got to work with my scissors. I also cut out my extra sentiment (for the Teddy tag card above). I then created three card bases from the 250gsm cardstock as well.

To assemble, I cut three panels of silver glitter cardstock to 14.8cm x 10.5cm and stuck those to my card bases. I used a strong double sided tape to attach my stenciled panels, then topped the cards with my fussy cut pieces, and finished off with flat mirror sequins.

Have a wonderful day and I'll see you again soon! - Kelly.

Butterfly Grunge

Hiya friends, welcome to my first DT post for Bee Arty for 2026! I'm super excited to be sharing with you some really awesome creations this year, today I'm starting off by combining the Grunge Duo dies with the Book Butterfly 3 A4 Cut Apart Sheet so let's get into it!

The first thing I did was cut out one of the circle die and two of the rectangle die from 350gsm white cardstock and used the Colour Artist Dye Ink in Oasis as a watercolour and went to town smooshing the paint down randomly on each die cut. I heat set them, smooshed again and repeated a couple more times until I was happy with the results. As I heat set the last layer, I splattered a little bit of the Walnut Colour Artist Dye Ink for a bit of extra texture.

I set them aside to fully air dry while I created 3 card bases using the 250gsm white cardstock, and embossed some extra 250gsm cardstock with the Impression A5 stencil. The final jobs were to fussy cut my Book Butterfly's and stamp out my sentiments that came from the Butterfly Wishes Stamp set and fussy cut those too.

To assemble card 1 (the circle one above) I cut a 14.3cm x 10cm panel from the bottom half of the embossed panel and glued it onto my card base. I mounted the circle frame with thin foam tape and glued my butterflies into place. I then foam mounted the sentiment in the centre.

For Card 2 (above) and Card 3 (below) I cut the remaining embossed panel into smaller rectangles that fit in behind the rectangle frames and foam mounted the rectangles on top. I added my butterflies and sentiments as shown.

I look forward to joining you all again soon with my next Design Team post later in the month! Let me know via the socials if you create some cards or other projects inspired by this set of cards. - Kelly.
