Hello again. I am back today sharing another layout. Although these are winter photos it was rather fitting to create on such hot summer days.
I have some really little spray bottles (perfume bottles/sprays I believe they're called) and are perfect for single projects. The first spray I made was using a very small amount of Peacock Colour Shimmer Dust with some water (I always use boiled or bottled water).
The second spray I made was with Coffee Colour Spray and water. I made it fairly light as I wanted a sandy colour.
When making my sprays I add a small amount of colour at a time, testing and adding until I am happy with the colour.
I layered some papers onto cardstock but forgot to take a photo (though you probably don't need to see it anyway).
I then sprayed some of my Coffee mix spray across it.
I went over the brown with Bling Colour Shimmer Spray.
Using my Peacock mix spray I sprayed on either side of the page.
I then sprayed over this with Envy Colour Shimmer Spray to give it a bit more shimmer.
I used Singin' The Blues Colour Shimmer Spray along the top.
Here's a picture of all the lovely shimmer.
I spread some Snow White Colour Paste through a stencil along the top and bottom.
While everything was drying I got my photos ready. Using my finger I lightly coated the edges of each photo with White Heavy Gesso. I then stuck some cardboard on the backs of three at varying heights.
I inked my chipboard net in some brown ink. Whilst still wet I sprinkled some Leather Colour Embossing Powder in some areas (not full coverage). Then heat set it.
Using my embossing dauber I used my finger to dab on small areas. Then sprinkled some Bling Colour Embossing Powder over it. Heat setting it once again.
Using Steel Colour Paste I added some birds through a stencil...it was a little tricky to negotiate placement as I had stuck down my flower spray by this stage.
I cut a strip of cheesecloth then gave it a spray with Singin' The Blues Colour Shimmer Spray and Envy Colour Shimmer Spray.
Another strip of cheesecloth I sprayed with my Coffee spray that I mixed up.
I then tucked these under my photos.
My chipboard title I covered generously with an ink pad, then smothered it with Envy Embossing Powder and heat set.
I found a little chipboard anchor. After coating it with my embossing dauber I carefully sprinkled sections with Leather Embossing powder, Then sprinkled the remaining with Dusty Charcoal Embossing Powder before heat setting.
To bring my page together I added some shells, flower spray, micro beads and glass beads.
A few more close ups.
Thanks for looking. Hope you've enjoyed.
xxx Suzy
