Autumn Whispers Shaker Cards

Hiya friends! Today I'm sharing a set of three shaker cards created using the Autumn Whispers papers and the Rustic Leaves die set so let's get into it!

Card One: Sweet and simple for card one, I used the middle rustic leaves details die to cut out a window in my patterned paper panel, then added a contrasting coloured die cut to the space instead, letting the tips curl upwards a little.

Card Two: A little step up from the first card; I used the solid die cuts from the top and bottom leaf to cut out my little windows and then added a contrasting leaf details dies cut offset. Keep those solid cut outs, I've used them for card three....

Card Three: Patterned paper with an oval cut out of the centre, filled with sequins here! To the right I've used the two solid die cuts from the previous card, and added the details die over top. I added the large details maple leaf die in the centre as well.

All the cards have used sentiments from the A5 Word Sheet Cut Apart - Birthday White on Black.

Have a fantastic week and I'll see you again soon, Kelly :)

Hello Autumn Card

Hiya friends! Today I've made an absolute mess and ended up with this card which I think has gone to the top of my fave makes of the year!

To start with I grabbed some 350gsm cardstock and heat embossed all the leaves from the Leaf Print stamp set. I then sprinkled over the gorgeous Nutmeg Shimmer Powder and gave it a good spray, allowing the colours to run freely and then set it aside to dry.

While the main panel was drying I stamped out the letters from the Autumn Feels stamp set with brown ink to make my sentiment then lightly glazed over them with leftover colour on my glass mat and set those aside to dry as well. Once everything was dry I stamped the words and spots stamps from the Leaf Print set over top in a brown ink. I roughed up the edges of my panel, gluing it to a card base, and then foam mounted my sentiment along the left hand side.

This was such a fun card to make and I think I'll be making more soon! Have a great week - Kelly.
