Hiya friends! Today I'm sharing a sweet fun fold card featuring the Stitched Wildflower dies along with the Fancy Leaves dies, so let's get into it!
To create the flowers: I cut a bunch of the Stitched Wildflowers dies and ink smooshed them using the Salmon Colour Spray (which I think is quickly turning into my favourite colour!) and set them aside to dry. The I added more ink to the centre of each flower and set aside again. I then took some scraps of white cardstock and sprayed them with the Khaki Colour Spray, heat setting in between layers until I got the desired texture. Again, I sat this aside to dry fully and then cut my leaves from it afterwards. Lastly, I cut 6 of the little stamen and used Sunflower Colour Shimmer Dust as a watercolour and painted each of them, again setting aside to dry. Once everything was dry I glued the flowers together.
For the Card Base: I took a piece of white cardstock measuring 12in x 4in and scored it longways at the 4in and 8in mark then folded one valley and one mountain fold. I took more of the white cardstock and cut 6 circles that were just under the 4in mark. On one of those I used a stamp from the All Occasions stamp set to add my greeting.
I folded my card base and tucked it into the corner of my work board, then added the circle die cut to the top half of the card, lining it up to be approx 5 7/8th in in height. Once I glued the first one on, I added a bit of scrap cardstock to the back of the circle, then lined up the next circle, making sure my stitched sides were facing out, and then did the same thing two more times until all 3 panels had circles attached.
I then took the Golden Bloom A6 stencil and lightly inked it across the bottom of the three panels.
To assemble: I laid out where I wanted my flowers and leaves to go on circles 1 and 3, and glued them all down into place.
Lastly, the slipcover: I took 2 pieces of cardstock that measured 4 1/8th in x 12 in and scored each at the 5 7/8th mark and again at the 6 3/8th in mark. One one of the panels I sliced off a teeny tiny slither from the longer side (5 7/8th in) and then glued the 5 7/8th in pieces together to create a long piece of cardstock which I then cut off with a border die to give a finished look before gluing it into place. I then sprayed the slipcover in Salmon Colour Spray and added my last flower and leaves.
Have a fantastic day, and I'll see you again soon! - Kelly :)
