Day 6 Product Introduction - Colour Shimmer Dust

Welcome to Day 6 of our product introduction!

Today we are introducing to you our Colour Shimmer Dust.  Our Colour Shimmer Dust are a fine dye powder.

Colour Range
There are 14 colours available in the Colour Spray range.

Directions
Shake well before use.  Apply directly onto porous surfaces for coverage.  Re-apply for desired finish. Acid free, non-toxic and non -flammable.

Tip
A little goes a long way.  It is highly pigmented, so use very little.

Storage
Store your Colour Shimmer Dust in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight.

Techniques
1. Sprinkle the Colour Shimmer Dust onto paper or cardstock and then spray with water, be careful not to spray it to close as the Colour Shimmer Dust is very light and will go everywhere.

2. Spray paper or cardstock with a water and then sprinkle Colour Shimmer Dust on it.

3. Fill watercolour brush marker with Colour Shimmer Dust and then fill them with water.  Use these as watercolour pens on your desired surface.  DT member Selena Stevens created a blog post on this and a video tutorial - click here to view this post.

4. Sprinkle a small amount of Colour Shimmer Dust into empty paint palettes.  Add a little bit of water to dilute the Colour Shimmer Dust and then use as a watercolour with a paint brush.  Once you have finished, set the paint palette aside. The water will evaporate and the Colour Shimmer Dust will remain in the palette.  When you want to use this again, just add more water.

5. Dilute Colour Shimmer Dust in water on your messy mat and colour your embellisments with it ie lace, ribbon, flowers and many others.

What you can do with our Colour Shimmer Dust is endless.  We have a design team that create projects using our products. For further techniques and ideas, please follow our blog.

The Colour Shimmer Dusts are available for purchase from your local stockist or via our online website.

We are looking forward to sharing our 7th product with you tomorrow - Colour Mica Powders.
