Sweet Beautiful Girls with Amy Prior

Hi there Colour Blast fans! Amy Prior back with you all again today this time sharing a couple of layouts that I recently taught at a charity event.

This first layout is title sweet and was created using the following Colour Blast products:

To create this super cool effect on the background, I have started off by spraying a lot of water onto the cardstock to create a nice big puddle.

Once my puddle of water was the shape that I wanted, I have then sprinkled some of the Sunflower shimmer dust over the top of the water and watched the magic begin. It truly is magical watching the dust disperse naturally in the water.

I have then heat dried the background so I would get even more of a mottled effect. When this was completely dry, I have then sprinkled some more water over the top very lightly to create a bleached effect as the water droplets reactivated the shimmer dust.

Lots of gorgeous layers of Cocoa Vanilla products finished this layout off perfectly.

Next up I have this layout titled Beautiful Girl to share with you all.

The Colour Blast products that I have used for this layout include...

To create the background on this layout I have started off with a piece of Bazzil Cardshoppe Cardstock in Marshmallow colour. Cardshoppe cardstock by Bazzil is specially designed for Mixed Media so a perfect product to use alongside these fabulous Colour Blast products.

I have started off the background by simply spraying some Colour Blast Colour Spray in Bubblegum colour over the the background in a diamond shape. I have sprayed really close to the paper to try and avoid over-spray.

When the colour spray was dry, I have then added some stencilling over the top using some Colour Blast Snow White Colour Paste through a Crafter's Workshop stencil. I just love how subtle the Snow White Colour Paste is!

Well that is it from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget that you can purchase all these awesome Colour Blast products and more from the Colour Blast Retail store here

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Amy Prior xx
