Hi to our Colour Blast fans!
I cannot get enough of our Colour Artist Inks. So bright and so versatile. Here is a sneak peek of today's page....
This page was created with a resist technique.
First I used a pencil to trace a stencil design onto a sheet of white cardstock.
Then I used Fineline Masking fluid and drew the liquid over the designs from the stencil.
You must leave the masking fluid to dry. Then I mixed some water and Colour Artist Ink in Cranberry, into a mini spray bottle.
I was able to get a soft watery combination when I sprayed this onto the page.
Then I painted a couple of the elements of the stencil design. Firstly I painted the leaves using Colour Artist Ink in Lime.
And then some of the smaller flowers using Colour Artist Ink in Oasis.
I did not take a photo, but once dry, you peel or rub the masking fluid off to leave the white resist pattern below.
To highlight, I used a silver paint pen to doodle around the flowers.
I made some small splatters using a Colour Shimmer Cube in Singing the Blues.
Here is the final page:
I finished the page with flowers, flair, some muslin and stickers.
Thanks for looking today!
Amanda
