Capturing The Moment by Suzy Loudon

Hello to everyone. Welcome to the Colour Blast Blog. 

I just love these photos of our oldest & youngest, just another loving kooky crazy day in our house.

To begin my layout I spread Heavy White Gesso across my cardstock. Then I placed a stencil on it & using a baby wipe I removed the Gesso in the stencil.

Using my Artist Inks in Spice, Cider & Citrus I put splatters down then sprayed with water. After drying with my heat gun I found it was just too bright for me, so I sprayed it al with water & dabbed it off with my baby wipe.

I added some Soot Artist Ink to help break the orange up some more.

I added some watered down Heavy White Gesso splatters.

I added some random stamping with a black Stazon Ink so it wouldn't run.

I painted my chipboard title with Heavy White Gesso before painting it with Citrus Artist Ink (sorry forgot that process photo but can see it later)

I painted my felt embellishment with Soot Artist Ink.

I painted my white flowers with each of the Artist Inks, slightly watered down.

After I had assembled my elements I felt it needed some more white gesso splatters as well as a little Heavy Black Gesso splatters.
