Hello everyone. Welcome back. Today I am sharing a layout. I had lots of fun getting my hands dirty.
Today I started with my embellishments as I had to leave them to dry. I used No More Gaps spread through silicone molds. I left them to dry for about 16 hours before turning out.
To begin the background of my layout, I used some of my home made texture paste spread through a stencil.
Once dry, I used pipettes to squirt my Colour Sprays in Rainforest, Lagoon & Roadbase.
Using my water spray I squirted water all over the Colour Sprays, spreading the colours around. Using my heatgun I dried it all off & added a little more in places I wanted more colour.
Once dry I used my black Stazon & stamped randomly around the page. I also inked around my page at this time.
I die cut some chipboard scrolls which I then painted with Heavy White Gesso. The first coat was light & even, then gave it another thick coat which I then quickly sprinkled with Colour Embossing Powders in Deep Water, Envy & Dusty Charcoal.
I heat set it giving it a good blast of heat making it bubble, giving it lots of texture. Here's my finished scrolls.
I gave them a quick spray with Lagoon & Rainforest Colour Sprays.
After turning out my molds I gave them a thick coat Heavy Black Gesso.
I then sprayed them with Deep Water Colour Shimmer Spray.
I grabbed some white flowers & sprayed them with Rainforest, Lagoon & Roadbase Colour Spray.
After I stuck all my elements down I covered my photo before splattering some watered down Heavy Black Gesso around.
Then I did the same with Watered down Heavy White Gesso.
I painted my chipboard title with Heavy White Gesso. Then I gave it another thick coat. Before it could dry I sprinkled some micro beads onto it.
Sticking my title down & I was done.
Here's a few close ups.
Thanks for looking, Hope I have inspired you to create yourself.
xxxx Suzy
