Hi everyone!
Happy to be here, sharing this page. I used lots of Bee Arty products, mostly from the three six five range.
Here is how I created the page.
Firstly I mixed some gel medium with Colour Mica Powder in Just Blue.
This is one of my FAVE ways to make my own pastes for backgrounds.
I used this paste through stencils: firstly: three six five A5 stencil and then circulate A5 stencil onto heavy white cardstock.
I fussy cut some of the geometric hexagons from the Cut & Colour paper.
Next I used Colour Shimmer Dust in Duke and Lollipop - to add colour to the page. I sprinkled a little dust and activated with water. I dragged the fussy cut hexagons through the colour on the page, to colour them. I also mopped up some of the colour with a piece of muslin. I was able to use this muslin later to add to the page.
Other papers I used to complete the page:
- Black cardstock for the background, to mount the photo and to die cut the diamonds using the Diamond metal die.
- three six five: Projections paper - for the background and to mount the photo.
- three six five: Resolutions paper - to hand cut the words for the page.
I finished with black splatters - Colour Spray in Road Base.
And here is how the final page came together!
I used machine stitching around the white background. I combined the hexagons, diamonds, hand cut words, with some muslin and threads to finish.
Thanks for looking today!
Amanda
