"Moments", by Amanda H

Hi everyone,
Here is my last page share for November! Where is the year going?!? This page shows a moment I captured during a recent trip to an wildlife park. As my daughter was feeding a kangaroo, her baby joey poked his head out. So adorable.
Here is a sneak peek of my page, and then I will show you some step by steps for how I created the page.
I started with a sheet of Kraft cardstock and glued some black tissue paper to add some texture.
Next I painted White Heavy Gesso with a wet brush over the tissue paper.
It is easy to make white splatters on your page. Simple mix a little water to your White Heavy Gesso and splatter away!

Next I chose a textured stamp and stamped the image with clear embossing ink, before using Colour Embossing Powder in Leather.
I heat set the embossing powder, which created some awesome shiny texture to the page.
The last step was to add some green. I mixed my own paint, by combining White Heavy Gesso with Colour Artist Ink in Grass.
This created quite a bright green paint, so by adding a few drops of Walnut Colour Artist Ink, I was able to create a more bushy green needed for my page. I use this paint to splatter on the page and add a few spots of paint on the textured background.
Here is the final page and some close ups.
I combined some neutral flowers, branches and leaves, with some stickers to finish the clusters on the page.
Here you can see the combined texture of the paint and embossed stamped image.
Thanks for looking today.
Amanda
