Hello Sunshine, by Amanda Hartmann

Hello Colour Blast fans,

Today I am sharing a summery page, which feels bright and warm on these wintery days.

I started my page with a face stencil. Using an embossing pen, I added embossing liquid through the stencil for a face outline.

Firstly I used Colour Embossing Powder in Singing the Blues, sprinkling the powder on and dusting it off with a fan brush.

Then I repeated the technique with Colour Embossing Powder in Envy.

For the third face, I used Colour Embossing Powder in Steel. Then each face was heat set to emboss.

Then I grabbed my Colour Artist Inks in Lime and Oasis and with a wet brush, added colour in different variations on the page.

Then I added some extra colour and splatters with a Colour Shimmer Cube in Steel.

Using a starburst stencil, I added some Colour Paste in Snow White, around the heads and faces.

Next I created my title. I started by painting the wood veneer title with some White Heavy Gesso.

I then gave it 2 coats of embossing, using Colour Embossing Powder in Envy.

To finish the title, I painted some embossing fluid (with a pen) to the top "hello" part of the title. Then I embossed this with Colour Embossing Powder in Steel.

Here is how my page came together, with some muslin, flowers, leaves and some bling and microbeads.

And some close ups to see some of the details.

Thanks for looking today! Hope you are staying warm and getting some scrapping done this winter!

Amanda
