"Never let anyone dull your sparkle", by Amanda H

Hello to you all,
Recently I ran out of white cardstock. It made be dive into my extensive paper stash, so maybe it is not all bad! Today's page shows how awesome Colour Blast can be to enhance patterned papers for any project!
Here is a sneak peek of the project!
Here are the steps I took to create the page.
I chose three paper doilies in 3 different sizes. And I got some Colour Artist Inks in Sunburnt, Spice and Walnut.
I painted the 3 doilies in each of the 3 different Colour Artist Ink colours.
Next, on my patterned paper, I used 3 different layers of stencilling using Colour Pastes.
First I used Colour Paste in Bling, through a sunburst stencil.
,
Once that was dry, I used more Colour Paste in Bling, this time, through a dots stencil. I layered the dots around the page and also over the sunbursts.
The third and last layer of Colour Paste was using the lovely copper Sienna, through a cross stencil. Again I layered this over the other stencilling.
I also coloured some embellishments for my page. I used Charms Creations Book paper embellishments, which are so easy to colour with Colour Blast. I painted them with Colour Artist Ink in Sunburnt.
For my title, I inked a chipboard title (with brown ink), before embossing using Colour Embossing Powder in Leather.
I also found a key hole embellishment in my stash. I used some Versamark and embossed it, also using Colour Embossing Powder in Leather.

As I put the page together, I added some splatters, using Colour Artist Ink in Walnut.
Now take a look at my final page!
You can see that I layered the 3 painted doilies behind the photo. And this stacked on the background created with Colour Pastes, creates many layers and interest.
Here are some more close ups to see all the details!

That's it! I do love the rich tones and beautiful colours of this page!
Thanks for looking.
Amanda
