Be Brave, by Amanda Hartmann

Hi all,

Welcome to my share day! I created an art journal page, where I used the Colour Mica Powders for my colour. I love a good pink and green colour scheme!

Here is a sneak peek and then I will show you how I created it.

Here is how I created the page.

Firstly I gesso'd the page. I like swiping the gesso on the page with an old credit card.

Next I got some old music paper and traced a figurine from the Croquis stencil.

Then I fussy cut the figure out.

Next I used gel medium to stick some extra torn strips of music paper to the page.

Mixing some Colour Mica Powder in Blush, with some water, I painted some lovely shimmery pink to the page. Only a small amount is needed.

Next, I mix some Colour Mica Powder in Apple of my Eye with some gel medium to make a light paste.

I stenciled the paste through the Triangle Spray stencil.

Next, I stamped some metal plates stamped images, using the new stamp from Time Flies.

For the title, I traced the "Brave" word through the "With brave wings she flies" stencil.

To finish the page, I added some rough doodling with a black pen.

Here is my final page.

Thanks for looking.

Amanda
