Fiona Paltridge
I am a self-confessed art-a-holic. I have always been an artistic person right from a very young age. I’ve been blessed my whole life to be surrounded by encouraging and inspiring artistic women including my mum and my grandma who were both amazing oil painters. I attribute my adventurous nature to their continuous encouragement and support.
I discovered scrapbooking more than 15 years ago when my children were much younger but I’ve only recently returned to scrapbooking in the last 5 years. For many years I was exploring abstract painting as my expressive outlet. Years of exploring this style of art has heavily influenced my scrapbooking.
Mostly I just like to create and I think it’s important that creation is a form of expression. I don’t aim to develop a certain style but rather look at new ways of representing my ideas in my work. My motivation to expand my skills and love of creating comes from the saying “The only artist you should compare yourself to is the one you were yesterday”. Each time I sit down to create, I ask myself “I wonder what I’ll discover today”.
Being a part of the Colour Blast Bee Arty team is the next step in my artistic adventure. I am so excited to be designing and creating back at home for a fabulous Australian company and so proud to be a part of such an innovative and collaborative team of artists. I have been fortunate enough to have designed several paper collections, stencils and stamps for international companies in the U.S. Europe and Great Britain but to have an opportunity to design for an Australian company has always been on my wish list. Thankfully Colour Blast by Bee Arty has helped to make this dream come true and now I get to share my crazy ideas and creations with you all.

Tanya Froud
Hi I'm Tanya. I am from country NSW where I live with my 2 teenagers who you will soon get to know through photos (mostly my daughter.. the son isn't as keen for photographs anymore!) of them in my work and my hubby Ian. I also have a grown up bonus son who has flown the coup and is living in the city. I have been scrapbooking since my son James was born nearly 18years ago. Back then I had absolutely NO idea what I was doing..so I taught myself and over the years my style has grown and changed from papers and stickers, to Mixed Media with paint, stamps, stencils and anything else I can throw at my pages... I love to experiment and see what happens! My style can be best described as bright and grungy. I LOVE using colour and all things pretty, then messing them up with splashes of paint and ink. I look forward to sharing with you all. In the last 6 months I have been blessed with the opportunity to Design ranges of products for Bee Arty. Again it's been a massive learning curve, but so far so good... I'm loving what I'm creating and I hope you are too!
Our Creative Team:
Amanda Hartmann
I have been scrapbooking for over 17 years. The evidence of this is my large organised stash, shelves full of albums and piles of layouts! My life is about the balance and juggle – as I divide time between my gorgeous family (husband and 3 girls), my rewarding work (as a Speech Pathologist) and my “me” time (Scrapbooking and Jujitsu). I love patterned papers just as much as I love combining mixed media to create my own backgrounds. But embellishments will always be my favourite thing; nothing like creating perfect interesting clusters! I have been a part of the Colour Blast team for many years and I am excited to continue the journey with Bee Arty.

Anita Enright
Hi everyone, I am from the northern outskirts of Brisbane in the Moreton Bay region in Narangba. I am married to my best friend Brian (who supports this papercraft habit fully) and a mum to two fur kids Molly and Ellie.
I have always done a form of craft starting with sewing, knitting and crocheting back when I was probably about 8 years old. I started scrapbooking around 15 years ago and have been on a couple of other design teams now find myself in this amazing team of ladies that are all so supportive.
Between working in the aged care industry full time, dabbling in Uni and teaching classes at my local papercraft store, I love getting in to my craft room and creating anything from scrapbooking and cardmaking through to mixed media, OTP and art journaling.
I hope you come in this journey and get inspired by my creations via the blog and the kit club.

Chrissi Mannix
Hi, I’m Chrissi. I live on the Gold Coast with my husband and 2 sons. I started scrapbooking 11 years ago, with my oldest sons baby album- and I was hooked from then. Over the years, I discovered project life and then art journaling.
Since discovering art journaling, I have found this whole new world, and love, in mixed media. I love all things bright and messy. Mixed media has taken over my creative world, from my scrapbooking to the pages of my many journals. I'm not happy if my hands aren't getting messy.

Elisa Ablet
I am a mum of two boys and i live on a beautiful part of the east coast of Australia. Sun, surf and rain forest everyday for inspiration.
I have been art and crafting for many years, trying my hand at all sorts of media. I majored in Art in college and I have a great range in my style from Mixed Media Art to Scrapbooking to Watercolour painting, Home decor items, Canvases, Natural Wall Hangings, out of the box items, mixed media pieces to Art Journalling and a combination of the lot at times. If i had to describe my style i would say eclectic, different and colourful. I love to use loads of different mediums on my projects and I have a somewhat unhealthy addiction to paper, stamps, stencils and paint. I also have a penchant for using upcycled or repurposing items for my projects, from natural items to hand dying fabric, wire, feathers, toilet paper and other unusual items. I love to create something different each and every time. Art in it's many different forms is therapy for me, creating and splashing mediums around is my happy place. I love a good laugh and a few sentence enhancers from time to time, so 'shenanigans' is my middle name !
I love to teach mixed media classes and demonstrate mixed media products, stamping and stencilling at Expos, Scrapbooking retreats and crop days. I am so excited to design for BeeArty and Colour Blast Australia and share my passion for creating, hopefully inspiring you all along the way, with a few laughs on the side.

Tracy Jackson
Hi my name is Tracy Jackson. I live in Taranaki, New Zealand. I started crafting in 2007, I have always had a creative side which lets me unwind after a busy day at work. I have recently had a few years break, but fell in love again with with colouring, cards, art journaling and tags. I have a love affair with my copics, pencils, inks and enjoy getting inky fingers and seeing the end result. Although I am not a scrapbooker I am a paper hoarder and always on the look out to fussy cut anything I can. All my creative adventures unfortunately spreads from the craft room to the dinning table, not sure how that happens but hey.... who needs to eat at the table anyway? I feel honored and excited to be on a team with such talented artists. Cant wait to get started and share some inspiration.
Tracey Campbell
My name is Tracey Campbell, I live in the Capital of Australia, Canberra. Both myself and my husband are in the Australian Navy and have two daughters, so we have interesting lives.
I have been scrapping for around 15 years now, a friend dragged me to a beginners lesson, which I didn't really want to go to as I already had a lot of hobbies. Well after my first lesson I was hooked and now I only have scrapping as my hobby. I love joining in on challenges and I love to share my scrapping with like minded people so I have been on quite a few Design Teams over the years.
I am an eclectic scrapbooker, meaning that I change my style to suit my photos or the products that I am using. Sometimes I am a neat and tidy scrapper, other times I get messy with mixed media, I draw inspiration from what I have on hand.

Ros Aggett-Madley
Hi my name is Ros, I live in beautiful Geelong and have been scrapbooking for about 12 years. Before then I fizzed at every craft or art activity I tried. I went along to a friend’s crop and it was basically hook, line and sinker. I was addicted. I finally found something arty crafty that I ‘got’.
I have been a Design Team member for lots of teams in the past and am currently on the Scrap FX Design Team. My most memorable scrapping achievement was in 2014 when I was lucky enough to be named one of the Scrapbooking Memory Masters.
I am enjoying a slower pace with my crafting now and love just sitting in my space with no real plans. I was super excited when the opportunity to join Colour Blast popped up and I joined the team in August 2018.
Scrapping for me has never been about preserving memories, although I do get a bit sentimental when using older photos. For me it’s always just been a creative outlet. It didn’t take me long to discover that scrapbooking was a bit more than just paper and glue. I find myself reaching for an art journal or a blank piece of cardstock and my trolley of colours, with photos being the last thing on my mind.
I don’t really have a style, but most of my pages will feature lots of texture and layers and splashes of colour. I love pretty things and I love paper and glue, paint and lots of messy mediums and can lose myself for hours in my little room. Love to have messy, painty fingers.
Am so excited to share with you all things Colour Blast by Bee Arty. Hope I can inspire.

Karyn Schultz
My name is Karyn Schultz and I live on a farm in the Adelaide Hills in Australia. I'm a mum to 2 gorgeous girls (12 and 18) and have an amazing husband who lovingly supports my crafting obsession lol.
I love scrapbooking, card making, art journalling, travellers notebooks, Project Life, and planners. Crafting allows me to be creative and lets me escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I've been crafting my whole life and started scrapbooking and cardmaking about 18 years ago after my first daughter was born. I love to capture precious family memories on my scrapbook pages and I love watching my family look through the albums and see their photos and read the journaling. I also love the social aspect of meeting people in online craft groups and teaching - I've created many great friendships this way!
My style is modern, relatively clean and simple, but with a mixed media edge. Most of my work includes a white background that is painted with watercolours/paints/sprays/inks etc. My style is constantly evolving and I love trying new techniques and using new products.

Julie Schinkel
My name is Julie Schinkel, I live in Brisbane, Australia. In my earlier career I worked in PR/Marketing and also have an IT background having spent 22 years in the industry. It was because of illness that I was first introduced to the world of scrapbooking in 2011. I needed a new hobby so Mum and I went along to a beginner’s class to see what it was all about. The rest, as they say, is history. I was hooked! Since then, I've done Off the Page items/homewares, card making, mini albums, accredited colourist with both Spectrum Noir and Copic (Intermediate), mixed media and more recently art journaling. I’ve also been on a few design teams and also designed for a local scrapbook store.
My scrapbooking style depends on what type of products I'm using at the time. It can range from clean and simple, colourful and bright, shabby chic to full mixed media. My current style is using lots of layers and die cuts/ephemera. Because more is more! When designing for a company, I like to focus mainly on the brand that I am designing with, rather than mixing brands and hiding it under lots of other products. I tend to use a lot of selfies especially with Snapchat filters. Most of us nowadays are using fun filters on our photos, so why not scrapbook them?
