It's Party Time!

Hiya Arty friends! Today I'm sharing a fun and bright card perfect for someone's special day, so let's get into it!

To start with, I took a A6 size panel of 350gsm white cardstock (10.5cm x 14.8cm), lightly misted it, and then ink smooshed across it with Sunflower Shimmer Dust that I turned into a watercolour puddle on my glass mat. Once I did a couple of layers (with heat setting in between), I set it aside to fully dry while I fussy cut out my images from the It's Party Time A4 Cut Apart sheet

I cut my panel down to 10cm x 14.3cm, then added my Punch Colour Paste through the Impression A5 Stencil in a couple of spots and then set it aside to dry again. Lastly, using a wet cloth, I dabbed through the larger side of the Impressions stencil to remove some of the Sunflower colour, leaving a light ghosted pattern. (see below).

I foam mounted my cut apart cupcake and sentiment, then glued the hearts and star into place. I add the panel to a top fold card base I made using the 250gsm white cardstock.

That's my card for today, let me know in the comments if you give any of these techniques a go! - Kelly.
