Hiya Arty friends, today I've created 3 gorgeous cards using the A4 Cut Apart Sheet 'Song Bird Melody' as my inspiration so let's check them out!
To start the cards off, I used the Tree Stump A6 stencil on top of 3 panels of 350gsm white cardstock to create my backgrounds. For the flower card I just painted Walnut Artist Ink mixed with Tan Shimmer Dust through the stencil in a couple of spots and for the other two cards I painted the whole stencil front, misted with water and then place down on top of the paper and let it sit for a minute before removing to give me a inky background base to work on, before adding a glitter paste through the stencil on one, and glitter paste mixed with Tan Shimmer powder on the other and set all three panels to the side to allow them to dry fully.
I cut out the three tags I wanted to use, distressed the edges with scissors and then dipped them into the Walnut ink. To assemble; I found some Jute ribbon in my stash, along with some coloured cotton threads and tucked them under each of the tags, then glued and foam mounted the elements.
We always love to see what you make, please tag us on socials or post in our dedicated Facebook group which you can find here.
Have a fabulous week friends!
Kelly.
