Sounds of Music

Hiya friends!

I'm back today with another set of three cards featuring the gorgeous Music A4 Cut Apart sheet, teamed up with the Music A6 Stencil so let's get into it!

For all three cards today I've used the 250gsm White cardstock cut to 10cm x 14.3cm, and then either a piece of coloured cardstock (red and blue) or another sheet of white cardstock (tan) that I've inked with the same colour as I stenciled with, cut to 10.5cm x 14.8cm.

I stenciled the three white panels with part of the stencil, masking off any area I didn't want inked with some paper tape, then decided on the blue, red and tan inks that coordinated best with the images. Once inked, I sat the three panels to the side to dry.

I've fussy cut all my elements from the Music A4 Cut Apart sheet and arranged them into little clusters, glued them together and added extra cardstock behind any pieces that dropped a little bit to make sure they all sit flush on the card fronts.

I added my background panels to card bases I made using the white cardstock as well, then the inked panels and finally topped them with my cut aparts. Some have been glued, while other bits have had thin foam tape added for extra dimension.

Have you added images from the cut aparts to cards? I'd love to see what you've created... just pop across the Facebook group and share your makes!

Until next time,

Kelly :)
