Hiya friends, I'm back with another card making post for Bee Arty and today I'm showing a fun way to add a little extra colour to your A4 Cut Apart Sheets, so let's get into it!
I started off by adding some Fern Colour Shimmer Dust to my glass mat, spraying down with water and then using a few 4' x 6" panels of 350gsm cardstock I smooshed the paper down into the colour. I added more water to my glass mat after each panel to get a lighter colour each time. I then set aside the panels to dry.
While waiting, I fussy cut the elements I wanted to use from the Christmas Mistletoe A4 Cut Apart sheet, and created three top folding A6 card bases from the 350gsm cardstock as well.
To assemble I used a couple of old dies to cut out my Fern panels, and foam taped each onto my card bases. I then added my cut aparts with a mix of glue and foam tape.
I love how each of the Fern panels ended up looking quite different from each other the lighter they got, and I think it's a fun way to use your Colour Shimmer Dusts! If you create your own version, make sure to tag us on your socials.
Have a fabulous week,
Kelly :)
