My Favourite - With Karyn Schultz!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using the Steampunk Pets mini paper collection available from Bee Arty.

 

 

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. In the area where the photo was going I applied Thunder Blue Mica powder in a watercolour look then splats of Thunder Blue, Deep Water and Espresso Mica powders.

 

 I applied Deep Water Colour Paste through the Rustic Rivet Stencil from the Timeless Grit Collection. 

 

 

Here is my completed page.

 

 

My Photo is b/w and printed with a white border (7cmx10cm). Ive matted the photo on some offcuts from the Timeless Grit Paper Collection Pack.  To embellish I added lots of fussy cuts from the Steampunk Pets mini paper collection pack. Words are from the Black Word Cutapart sheet.

Steampunk Pets is a grungy quirky collection with cute images of fur-pets, and is designed by the talented Karen Yates.

You and Me - With Karyn Schultz!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using the new Day To Day collection available from Bee Arty.

 

 

I created a mixed media background on a sheet of 350gsm Heavy White Cardstock. In the area where the photo was going I used a sponge to add Sunflower (yellow) Colour Shimmer Dust through the "dash" half of the Dash A5 Stencil then Lollipop (pink) Colour Shimmer Dust through the "hump" half of the Dash A5 Stencil.  

I added a 1cm x 12" strip of Petals Paper to the RHS of the page then I stencilled the rainbow/sun strip from the Border Doodles A4 Stencil using both Sunflower and Lollipop Colour Shimmer Dust and a sponge - how cool does it look!

 

Along the LHS of the page I added a 4"x12" strip of Notes paper and 1cm x 12" strip of Petals Paper.

 

Here is my completed page.

 

I added stamping along both of the yellow paper strips using stamps from the Borders Stamp Set and Black Archival Ink.

 

The photo is approx 8cm x 10cm portrait printed with a white border. Under the photo is a square of Floralicious Paper and a note cut from the Notes paper. Flower embellishments are fussy cut from the Bloom Bright Paper. Words are from the Petal Pop Paper. Acetate florals are from the kit. 

 

Ticket Die cuts and the Frame die cut were created using White Cardstock and the Tickets and Frames metal die set.  

 

Lastly I added splatters of each colour (Sunflower, Lollipop and Midnight).
