Together Forever Card Toppers by Julie Schinkel

Hi everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and well. Today I'm sharing a couple of cards that I've made using the Forever stamp set from the Vampyre Rose Collection by Bee Arty.

I've done a few examples just to show how you can use the stamp differently and still get great results. You don't have to be a skilled colourist either, you can use different inks and mediums in different ways. Here are some close ups of my card toppers so you can see how I've created them.

Using Colour Blast Bling Embossing Powder

Coloured with Copic alcohol markers

Colouring just the outside using Copic alcohol markers and Colour Blast Shimmer Pen. You could also use Colour Blast Artist Inks, Mica Powders, Pencils etc.

Using Colour Blast Shimmer Cubes. You could also use Colour Blast Mica Powder or Artist Inks.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Thanks for stopping by.
Until next time, happy crafting.

"FABulous" by Anita Enright

Hi Everyone

Anita back on the blog with you today.

From the moment I first saw Forever My Always collection from the very talented Fiona Paltridge, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the range.

All Colour Blast products were from the Queen Bee kit.

So for the layout today and the my gorgeous photo I knew my background just had to a white base.

To start I cut my white cardstock down to 11"x11".
After applying a sealing coat of Heavy White Gesso to my cardstock I then apply gesso through the My Lady A4 stencil from the collection but only the flowers. Whilst the gesso was still wet I sprinkled the Sahara Sand Embossing Powder over the gesso and then dried it off with my heat gun.  I added some good heat in several spots to make it bubble.

Once I finished heat embossing the gesso and the cardstock was totally dry I mounted this on to the patterned paper that was the reverse side of the cover page of the paper pack.

Next I fussy cut all the pieces from the Gentle Heart page so I had everything ready to go to create my layering around my photo.  Using my Versamark pen I drew around the edges of a couple of the leaves and then heat embossed the Sahara Sand Embossing Powder  giving a nice glittery edge to the leaves.

I blinged up some of the natural cotton ribbon with the Bling Shimmer Spray that was part of the Queen Bee collection kit.

To create my cluster I sprayed some book paper with the Bling Shimmer Spray and quickly dried it off with my heat gun.  I die cut one of the Diamond Metal Die using the X & O patterned paper from the collection. I mounted my photo on some cardboard before added the book paper to the back along with the die cut, a paper doily and several of the fussy cuts flowers from the cut apart sheet.
After attaching it to my layout I then added some of the cotton ribbon to the top and bottom undersides of the photo.

Next I used the "Fabulous" chipboard sentiment from the kit and added the gorgeous Sahara Sand Embossing Powder to it, heat setting it. From my stash I die cut the My Flower Metal Die from the collection on some match gold cardstock.
I then finished it off with a couple of the small navy flowers, a little wood veneer sentiment, a flair button, a few little matching adhesive gemstones, and a Charms Creations heart embellishment that I had lightly sprayed with the Bling Shimmer Spray along with a few Bling droplets over the white cardstock.

Check out are a couple of closeups of my layout.

Thanks again for stopping by.

All About Green - With Karyn Schultz!

Hi Bee Arty Lovelies!

It's Karyn here and today I have a scrapbook page to share with you made using lots of amazing products from Bee Arty.

I'm also joining in with the April Creative Challenge "Monochromatic". We would love for you to join in on the challenge and be in the running to win a $30 online store voucher!

For my background I have started with a sheet of 12x12 white cardstock and applying Apple Of My Eye Colour Paste through the My Lady A4 stencil

Next I took a sheet of A4 white cardstock and used Colour Artist inks in Grass, Lime and Mermaid to create a colour wash over the page. Once this paper was dry I created a number of diecuts using the My Flower metal die

Once the stencilled image was dry I used the same Colour Artist inks in Grass, Lime and Mermaid to colour the image.

Here is my finished page.

Underneath my photo I've added a white paper doilie and some white muslin as a mat.

I've added some of the flower diecuts around my photo as well as some paper flowers.

I've added a chipboard word painted in Soot Colour Artist ink, and some word stickers. Lastly I've added a few splatters of Soot Colour Artist ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by

Live Your Art Tags by Tracy Jackson

Morning Bee Arty fans...

Today I am sharing my monthly project - 3 tags

Before i start any project, I always pick out my paper, not only does this give me a colour scheme to go off, it also tends to give me ideas depending how much of it I have.
I had left overs from Arty Farty paper range that I couldn't bear throwing out, which gave me the idea to make tags.

After cutting out a tag shape and gluing a strip down the side and picking out a stencil called Bricked,  I then mixed in some Shimmer Dust - Velvet into some Gesso and put a layer over the stencil on 2 tags and a Shimmer Dust - Paris/Gesso mix onto the last tag.

I then set aside to dry, which didn't take that long while I gathered up what I needed for next stage.

So for Tag 1 - I picked matching flowers that were 2 different sizes. Stamped each a couple times each with Archival Ink onto watercolour paper so the black outline wouldn't run when I coloured them with Shimmer Dust - Duke
Stamp set I used for this is called Floral Delights 2. ( I actually used the flowers from this set for all 3 tags), I also stamped on the tag to cover in some spaces one of the stamps from Meridian
Got to love fussy cutting!

I repeated the process for Tag 2,  but also added the paint brushes and words from Live Your Art stamp set. Shimmer Dust colours used for these flowers are Peacock and Lollipop

Lastly Tag 3 - I stamped on background one of the stamps from Geo Grunge
Shimmer Dust colours used were Duke and Velvet
I also used for the first time in center of flowers... Shimmer Pen... OMGeeee... squeal ... this pen is so cool and leaves such a shimmer!!
..
And so, after assembling them all together, free hand drawing lines around the edges, hole punching and adding twine, I have ended up with 3 bright and fun tags

Hope you have enjoyed this and I have given you some inspiration to not throw out any leftover paper.
Happy Crafting

Enjoy Today- A tag by Tanya Froud

Hi Guys!

Today I have a simple tag, using the shimmer dusts and some stencils available in store. They are linked Below.

To start of I ran texture paste through the flux stencil and then dried it fully.

I then sprinkled a small amount of shimmer dust over the tag and spritzed with water. I dried it and then repeated until I was happy with the colors'

Using a piece of scrap card I stenciled the lady, daubing black ink through with a sponge. I only did the head, torso and stopped at the waist.Remove the stencil and then grab a black pen and draw a mermaid tail.

I then painted the mermaid and added details with acrylic paint and oil pastels.

Once everything was done I put her together. She felt like she was missing something so I added some white flowers, died to match with shimmer sprays.

Products Used...
Shimmer Dusts (Cobalt, Paris, Peacock)

Keep Some Room in Your Heart, by Ros Aggett-Madley

Hi, thank you for joining me today.

My page today was started by using the Scrap FX Circle Template and an embossing pen.  I used this to trace a circle in the middle of my page and then heat embossed a circle.
I have then filled the middle of the circle with water and dropped in some Colour Artist Ink in Calypso, Lime and Mermaid.
A brush has been used to help move this around before heat drying the piece.

I wanted quite a dark paste so I mixed some Midnight Colour Shimmer Dust with some molding paste and have applied this to the edge of my circle using the Imagine Stencil.

On a separate piece of pager, I have layered it in water and dropped more of the Colour Artist Inks along with some Bubblegum Colour Spray.  I heat dried this, using a paper towel to blot up the excess.
Once dry, the page has been randomly stamped using the Geo Grunge Clear Stamp Set.

I have die cut lots of butterflies from this page using the Butterfly Effect Metal Die.  I also cut some butterflies with black card stock and have attached these to my coloured ones to add some shadow.

The Circle Template was popped back onto my page to add some white splatters so that they only landed in the circle.

I then used my white pen to add a few highlights to my page.

Hope you've been inspired 💙
