Howdy Blog Hoppers, Lisa here, with a mid month update to entice you to mix up your creative process by playing with your Colour Blast mediums .
I want to share with you how brilliant these products are by showcasing the raw beauty that is the Colour Blast Coloured Paste and the Embossing Powder. The integrity of the mediums really do stand alone beautifully and one can create gorgeous pieces using them in many ways.
For this piece I have used a mandala style stencil and the
6 colours that I own to create a rainbow across the page.
Of course I have selected the pastes that work perfectly laying next to each other and the blending of the colours really did product a glorious rainbow result .
Would you like to create this gorgeous background ?
The Colour Blast Paste order of product for this page is
'Bling', 'Tangerine Dream', 'Fire Engine', 'Royalty', 'Just Blue' and 'Apple of My Eye'
While the paste dried, I found some appropriate chipboard within my stash and painted the chippy blue and green to support the embossing powder. I love the result of the chipboard using the embossing powder, it covers beautifully using only one coat of embossing powder. The embossing powder used for this piece are 'Just Blue' & 'Apple of My Eye'.
After drying time, I added a little stamping, doodling and drippy house paint. More drying time, then a quick black matting of this glorious photo of Fanny on her Wedding Day, some simple embellishments to enhance and highlight the fabulous photo and the glorious shimmer and sheen of the Colour Blast Coloured Paste.
Instagram is my go to for progress uploads as I create.
the colours and the process I have used to create this piece .

Big shoutout to all those who leave a little love here.
