"Flying Fox"
Before I started this page, I opened my heavy gesso and left the lid off for roughly an hour - this will thicken the gesso and lets you apply it like paste.

I started with white cardstock in 12x12 and chose a stencil.
Using a spatula, apply the White heavy gesso through the stencil.
Yellow is one of my favourite colours so I chose
I've used lots of water and painted the spray on with a brush, using small amounts of each colour, multiple times and allowing them to blend.
The colours are side by side on the colour wheel which means they are safe to blend - without ending up with brown.
Because I've added lots of water, I stood the page up and allowed the colour to run down the page.
I've also added some splatters using the same brush.
I chose a chipboard piece to back my photo with and coloured it with the Black heavy gesso
As the background was the main feature, I kept the extras to a minimum.
To finish I've added my title, some washi and stickers.
With such a bright background, I've kept the colour palette to match with accents of black.
I love that this layout is so simple, yet so striking and it could be replicated with so many colour combinations.
I'm definitely going to create some more layouts similar to this and I'd encourage you to have a go too.
I've also created a process video for this layout if you'd like to watch the creative process.
Thanks for visiting.
Happy Scrapping
