Birthday Tags by Rachel Dutko

Hi Colour Blast fans!

If you are like me with kids at school, you know there are a lot of friends,
and a lot of birthdays!
My project today is some birthday tags for my sons' friends!

So here is how I created my tags-

I started by die-cutting some tags from cardstock.
I then applied Tangareen Dream Colour Paste through some different stencils.

Next I defined the edges by applying Rainforest Colour Spray around the edges with the straw from the bottle. I also added some splatters of Carribean Colour Spray. Once it had dried I decided the tags needed more definition, so I repeated these steps with Road Base Colour Spray.

I then die-cut some more shapes and sprayed
with Carribean Colour Spray.

To create my cute little robots, I stamped some robots onto watercolour paper with Versamark, then heat embossed with Dusty Charcoal Colour Embossing Powder.

I then coloured my robots with Singin' the Blues and Fire Engine Colour Shimmer Cubes, Saffron Colour Spray and water-activated Amber and Peacock Colour Shimmer Dusts.

I coloured some wood veneer stars with White Heavy Gesso, then heat embossed with Sunshine Colour Embossing Powder.

Then to finish off I could personalise them with a name and age.

Thanks for looking

Rachel x x
