Hi Colourblast lovers, I want to share with you this simple, bright layout of one of my favourite things..... My Frangipani Tree.

This year it has been just so pretty, so I thought I'd make a background using the Colour Shimmer Dusts in Lollipop & Sunflower, to mimic the colours of the flower.

I used watercolour paper for this layout as I knew I would be using a whole lot of water.

I spritzed the page with water, in a diamond shape.

Then sprinkled the dusts over  the page using the tip of a small palette knife, and spritzed again to activate the magic. So pretty.

I dried this with a heat tool. Such beautiful shimmery goodness.

But I wanted MORE.... so I used the Colour Shimmer Spray - Bling, to lightly spray over the top.

Once that had dried I wanted to add more texture... what is my go to..? I hear you ask.... of course it is the Colour Pastes and a stencil.

This time I chose the Colour Paste - Snow White and put it roughly through this favourite heart stencil of mine....

I really love how the Snow White Colour Paste picked up the Bling shimmer from underneath.

So not much else to this layout. I backed my picture with tissue paper and used a strip of punchinella, mounted my picture on cardboard to raise it up a little, added my title, some vellum butterflies and some glass droplets to mimic the raindrops on the bloom.
