Fun with Shimmer Dust by Tina Connolly

 Hi everyone, just sharing a layout I created using the fabulous new Colour Shimmer Dusts.

I mixed Sunflower Colour Shimmer Dust with gesso and created a pale lemon paint for my background.  Once dry, I sprinkled Navy, Sunflower, and Candy Shimmer Dusts, then spritzed with water.  You can create various effects depending how much water you add.  Have a play and experiment...it's lots of fun.

Work out your photo and embellishment placement.

Mix Candy Colour Shimmer Dust with gel medium and apply through a stencil.  Repeat the process using Sunflower.  The Colour Shimmer Dusts have very intense colour, add a little at a time until you get the desired depth of colour.

Emboss chipboard using Snow White Colour Embossing Powder.  When used over raw chipboard it gives a stunning silvery finish.
